I had a good experience with Junk Guys. We have a commercial property that has a pretty big issue with people leaving mattresses, couches, and other bulky trash. The city of Carrollton, and pretty much every other city in the DFW metroplex has a bulky trash service where they come to your house and pick up this large bulk trash from your yard for FREE. I really have no clue why people go to the trouble of loading an old dirty mattress, and a huge couch into their car (or borrowing their friends truck), and driving to a commercial shopping center to illegally dump it. Seriously lol y u do dis. Anyways Junkguysdfw has very straight forward flat rate pricing. Came out about 60$ cheaper than junk king who never can give me a price over the phone, can't even give me their rates.... Junkguysdfw provides that information over the phone noting that it is an estimate but they usually estimate quite conservatively since you pay per truck load. One guy showed up but the back of his truck had a hydraulic lift so he had no trouble angling the couch/mattresses and dropping them in. I called on Friday and they fit me into their Saturday morning schedule. Typically they are able to pick everything up within 1-2 days. I know they also offer cleaning services for when you have a hoarder tenant and need to get rid of a ton of stuff. That job sucks lol. I have used them twice now, and will continue to use their service. read more

I messaged with them to assure they could pick up my things. I confirmed the date and gave them a large window of time to pick up my two items. They messaged me back saying it was all set up and confirmed. The day of it came time for them to show up nothing. I emailed them again and said hey are you guys still coming. The response was instant saying "No, we aren't going to be able to make it. We will need to reschedule." Really screwed up. If you have a conflict or need to change times just let people know in advance. Even yesterday at 2pm would have been fine. Then I would have had time to figure something out. Very frustrating. Believe all the bad reviews. I scheduled for a 10:30 dumpster delivery. The day before, I get a call saying it will be noon. Not great within my schedule, but still doable, so I agree reticently. Noon comes and goes. At 12:30 I call and ask when to expect them. I get an incomprehensible explanation about "the weather" (there were light scattered showers all morning, hardly a big deal) and get told it will be another hour. An hour and a half later, no dumpster. I call again and I am told that he is "16 minutes away." I ask if it will really only be 16 minutes, because I need to leave the house. He then responds "if you don't want the dumpster, just say so." I say I need the dumpster, but they are already 3.5 hours past the time I scheduled, and I have other obligations. He then blames me for making him late by calling him all the time (for the record, I called twice in the two hours following the rescheduled delivery time). After he asked a couple more times if I wanted to cancel, I took the hint. Truly a toxic company that everyone should avoid at all costs. My wife found these or this guy online. It surprised me how much of a comedian he was at first and I thought it was impressive. We needed a rush job and he said they could drop off same day. The price on you tube video said $200 and the ad on website said $250 but it ended up costing me $300 cash. While dropping dumpster off the guy had a few mechanical issues and thought he might not be able to get the dumpster off the trailer but after some rigging of the trailer controller he finally got it off collected his cash, grabbed the go pro camera he was using to film himself the entire time and left. Minutes later my wife came into the house complaining about the stench of trash and all of the maggots she was seeing in the driveway, which I thought was weird because we have lived in this home for over 10 years and have never seen one maggot. So I came outside and followed the trail of maggots only to be lead to the dumpster that was filled with hundreds maybe even thousands of maggots, some dead and some still alive. There were maggots that either popped out when the dumpster was detached from the trailer and some that were just crawling out. I immediately called the guy and told him he needed to come pick up the dumpster immediately because it was freaking my wife and mother out. He proceeded yo say "There just maggots, they're harmless" and i told him I don't give a damn about what he thinks of maggots but my wife is freaked out. He then said "well i was doing her a favor cause she needed a rush job and that was the only trailer we had left". Right then and there it was nothing left to be said but come pick the dumpster up as soon as you can and i hung up. Don't let te comedy and jokes fool you, the only joke is this company. Ricardo Hernandez provided a quote of $200 or LESS, to pick up and remove 40 black yard bags of leaves. I accpeted and scheudled the job. When his employee showed up to do the job, he said how much were you quoted? I said $200 or Less. He said that's not enough. I asked, "How many bags do you estimate there are to be hauled off", he said 35 to 40. I said that's exactly what my quote was for - 40 Bags. He said it's more like a $300 job. I said, I did not misrepresent the job in any way. If you misquoted the job, that's a different story, but I hired you for $200 or LESS. He said they wouldn't do it for $200, and left the site. I'm stranded now, needing these bags moved and they don't care that it put me in a bind. They were on site, but not willing to do the job for $200 and drove away. read more

I ordered and recieved a dumpster to be at my house for the 7 day paY rate, It had rained 3 days out of the week that we had the dumpster and we weren't finished loading it . I called the morning that they were supposed to pick it up that afternoon I called in the morning and talk to the guy and he said that would be no problem they would leave it for a few more days and I could pay accordingly which is what most of the other dumpster companies allow you to do. well the other gentlemen that is with this business Micheal showed up to pick up the dumpster and refused to leave the dumpster, my son was even there to let him know i had already talked to his partner....he said he already drive over here so he was taking it!!! I'm not happy with their service whatsoever I have tried to get them to come back out here to pick up the few things that I had left to put in that dumpster and they wanted to charge me full price... Ricardo is extremely rude and completely unprofessional! My parents passed away and I desperately needed the house cleaned out. I had to reschedule for a following weekend and The Junk Guys Junk Removal Hauling company had the wrong time. There was NO phone call to confirm the arrival time or to inform me that his crew was leaving the property. I drove 3 hours to an empty house. I sent him a text asking what time he planned to arrive and he responded that his crew left a few hours ago. I tried to call to see if there was a solution to this considering I had confirmed the time for noon and he left at 9:30 in the morning. After a few nasty text messages and no answered phone call it became apparent he was not going to help clean out my parent's home. Needless to say I was completely upset and in tears! Diana - the worst customer service I have received in a long time. Maybe she hates her job? Maybe she is just a sad little troll. I don't know. I called and ordered a dumpster a week and half ago. Delivery time was set between 10 and 11 am. When no dumpster arrived today, I called. Diana answered the phone and I began to tell her about my problem. Before asking me who I was, any information etc- she said she would call the driver and hung up on me. I called back and asked her if she even knew who I was- that she hung up on me before she took my info. She then proceeds to tell me she only has one delivery today so she knew who I was. I asked her to confirm the address. NOT MINE. Then she tells me she has no clue who I am and has nothing on the books for me. I ask to speak to her manager and before I could even call him- he is calling my cell phone. Magically he has a order for me and he knows exactly who I am. Ricardo (the manager) tells me yes he knows the customer service is shitty, there's nothing he can do and says maybe Diana is DRUNK. He says she is probably drunk 2-3 times. WTF. Her manager is telling me she is probably drunk like it's totes no big deal. Gross. AVOID THEM. Ricardo shows up at my house and I don't want a dumpster from this dude and his drunk office manager. I needed to clean out a rental property after my tenant left a bunch of trash and some furniture behind. The 12 yard dumpster was perfect for the job. I was able to get everything loaded in 1 pass versus having to make 10 trips to the smelly dump. When I was done they came and picked it up and hauled it off. It was sweet! It really made the job so much easier being able to work at my pace and not have to visit the dump. If you need a dumpster I'd recommend these guys for sure. read more

On scheduled pick up day, Mr. Ricardo came on time and did the work himself in just one hour; he was very friendly, amiable, down-to-earth, and hardworking---with a great sense of humor and was very kind to my little boy.
