A delicious bite of yellowtail collar
    Michelle K.

I'm always asked where the best place to go for sushi in Parker. And my answer year after year is the same: Junz sushi. I love supporting small businesses and restaurants. This family ran sushi restaurant has always left me coming back for me. I love the quiet atmosphere where the staff knows my order because I'm their regular. They truly know how to make their diners feels special. I go during their lunch hours more than their dinner. I order the same thing Everytime. Lunch Deluxe B which is their sushi lunch. You get a variety of fresh nigiri that's plump and decent, a California roll where knew bite is a full mouthful. The giant plate also includes a salad with home made Japanese dressing, full portion shrimp and vegetables Tempera, and their steamed Asian style vegetable. Majority of the time, I take half of it home to enjoy later. If you have yet to try their Hamachi-kama, I recommend trying it. If you love yellow tail fish, this is the perfect starter for you. I also love their green muscles!. If you're ever in the Parker area and question yourself where to go for the freshest sushi or just a delicious Japanese style meal, I highly suggest you head over to Junz.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and had an afternoon available to grab lunch. They weren't too busy and was able to sit immediately at the sushi bar. I was greeted by the sushi chef with a complimentary cold cucumber salad and a beverage by the waitress. I ordered a salmon roll as well as tabiko sushi. Everything was made to order and pretty tasty. Good spot to go for sushi if you're in Parker.

I always request Junz for my Birthday dinner and it's easy to know why! Their lobster tempura appetizer is to die for and my mom and I both order our own separate plates of it to feast on its golden goodness. For rolls, I highly recommend the Volcano Roll. I usually split four rolls with my mom and they have so many options that the combinations are endless. The service and ambiance are great.

I'm so incredibly impressed by the consistent quality of the sushi at Junz! I've been going here for 4.5 years and it's the most delicious sushi I've ever had. My boyfriend is a pilot and has eaten sushi all around the world and swears by Junz as "the best sushi ever"! He won't eat it any where else now! The sushi is always so fresh, fairly priced and they aren't afraid to serve generous portions of fish. They also have a nice assortment of daily specials! The service is great too! We get greeted and seated immediately and the wait staff is always attentive and friendly. It has an inviting ambience too with a large open seating area and a sushi bar that wraps all the way around the kitchen area for plenty of room to watch the skilled sushi chefs work their magic! I've included several pics to show their generous portions and creative sushi designs! Please trust my review and try Junz!! You won't be disappointed.... don't forget to order the fresh wasabi!!!

The interior of the restaurant is very cute and they have interesting restrooms. Espresso machine was not working so no milk or espresso drinks offered - not sure why that wasn't a priority to get up and running before opening for brunch. The reason for the one star review is that the food took over an hour to arrive to our group. The waitress explained that the kitchen was understaffed and everyone came in at once, but honestly it was still upsetting and frustrating. We ordered the French toast, venison tartine, and the mushroom crepe. Everything tasted good actually BUT after the hour wait for our food, we found a hair in our venison tartine. They did get another one out to us fast but just another problem found after the insane wait for the food. In the end, they did what they could with regards to the bill and apologized profusely for all the issues, but I do feel like the restaurant has some improvements to make as far as staffing and time/guest management. I would just warn you to not come during a busy time until the restaurant becomes more established.

That says a lot about who you hire to run your restaurant, total professionalism. It's nestled in the this great location not far from 1-25 and Belleview on Newport and you can even get there by taking lightrail and walking over a few blocks. So location is super convenient to get to. But my the real pleasure is in the food, always fantastic. I had the MOULES FRITES P.E.I blue mussels, shallot, white wine garlic broth, baguette, paprika-lemon aioli, and French fries; the broth is well sipping worth and wonderful with the toast. I also had the Caesar Salad and it was a meal by its self, I brought it home as my eyes were bigger than my tummy! Great for lunch today as it wasn't over dressed! Others had the RISOTTO CHAMPIGNONS with salmon, the FILET MIGNON - 8oz Filet, Sauce Au Poivre or Blue cheese Sauce; COQ AU VIN - Chicken slow-braised in a rich red wine sauce, seasonal vegetables, Pomme and Butternut Squash Puree and FRENCH ONION SOUP with a Caesar salad. They brought out a birthday medley of fresh berries and Gelato to finish our meal. We also had a few wonderful bottles of the PROSECCO to clink to the Birthday Girl and many glasses of wine! It's a fabulous date place too if you are looking for a bit more refined dining experience. Also, if you are closer to Denver/Cherry Creek, I highly recommend Le French at 9th & Co the sister restaurant with a larger elegant bar and dining area, it is a beautiful space and better for larger groups as Belleview is 1/2 its size and more quaint. Food at either is always exceptional! So busy talking didn't get many pics. But the pic is of the birthday desert plate.

They weren't busy when we arrived, staff was kinda just hanging out, but when we went to sit on the patio it was pretty gross on the couches, pillows everywhere, and the table was so wobbly I ended up fixing it (and getting my hands nice and dirty!). Our server was nice, but distracted with flirting with his coworkers ‍ This is something I'm familiar with as a fellow restaurant worker, but try not to make it noticeable to your table who is paying 30-50$ a person.

As a former bookstore, this restaurant has a lot of charm that makes for a cozy ambience, especially on a Sunday afternoon. We had a mix of mix of French and Spanish cuisine, starting with Truffle Fries, followed by Beef Bourguignon and Shakshouka, and ending with Basque Cheese Cake. I also had French Press Coffee as well, and just to get that out of the way, wow, such a good coffee! I'm an espresso and Americano purist, and somehow this French Press tasted like a very good Americano with a more nuanced, sweet chocolatey taste. But enough of that, let's get to the delicious food, and yeah, they are all so good! The Truffle Fries to start is just seriously addicting with its potent combination of Parmigiano, parsley, and white truffle oil. In fact, the ketchup is completely unnecessary and detracts from the deliciousness of the fries. The aioli provided adds another twist to the fries for variety, too. The Beef Bourguignon is surprisingly soft and delicate, but never bland or mushy. It plays that fine line beautifully and it is a delight and comforting to eat. The beef is tender, yet savory. It's appropriate that Bourguignon has a red wine reduction component because this dish is as nuanced and delicious as fine wine. Now going to the Spaniard side of the cuisine, the Shakshouka fires it up with a tomato and egg stew that's bursting with flavor! There is balance with the acidity and cheesiness, coupled with one of the tastiest flatbread I've had in recent memory. Finally, the Basque Cheese Cake, named after the Basque Country in Northern Spain, absolutely delivers as a dessert. This isn't an ordinary cheese cake because of the dulce de leche and candied pecans. I just love having the playful contrast of the semisoft cheese cake with the sweet and crunchy pecans. The Dulce de Leche adds another layer of sweetness that is so delectable. It really is 3 different way of sweetness that all works so well together.

And you'll be openly humiliated and insulted as an adult by even daring to bring your kid. My husband and I come here regularly for a date and we love the place. This afternoon we brought our 1 year old with us for the first time; she loves fries and this place has great pommes frites. We came at 4:30pm and it was probably 90% empty, and obviously not like romantic date night time. First, they tried to seat us alone in the back room, and when we asked to sit in the main dining room (where there were ~15 open tables), the hostess was demonstrably annoyed...despite the fact that every other party was seated in the main room. Worth noting, we come here often at the same time without our daughter, and have never once been seated in the back room alone. Our daughter was sitting quietly in her high chair "reading" the menu and playing with stickers, a few of which she dropped on the floor...because, you know, she's 1. A staff member repeatedly walked by giving us dirty looks and complaining to other staff members about the stickers within earshot. After hearing it multiple times, my husband said, "don't worry, we always pick up after our child." The staff member snapped back, "well they're clearly already going to stick to the floor". My husband replied "we are going to pick them up...kids drop things and things happen". She rolled her eyes, and walked away. We always clean up after our kid. We go out of our way to make sure she's only in appropriate places at appropriate times...like, I obviously wouldn't bring her to this restaurant at 7 PM on a weekend night where she might disrupt adults looking for a romantic night. But she was just sitting there quietly playing with stickers, not bothering anyone (except apparently this staff member). I'm shocked that a place with high chairs and a kids menu would not only be so unwelcoming before we even sat down, but would also insult us as adults by insinuating we would leave our kids trash on the ground in their restaurant. And to stand there and openly talk about us in front of other staff members?? Genuinely stunned, offended and frankly humiliated. FWIW, before we left, I picked up every single sticker in under 10 seconds, because I'm a decent member of society and I intentionally buy my kid stickers that are removable and won't stick to a restaurant's floor or tables. Bistro Vendome: if you find a sticker belonging to my kid, I will personally return and remove it, but I will otherwise never in a million years be back.

They had received a gift card to this restaurant as a birthday present and we met them there to enjoy a lunch together. First thing to remember is that there is a lot of construction going on in Cherry Creek which limits the amount of parking spaces available. I highly recommend carpooling with a friend or walking over to the restaurant if parked at the nearby mall. This is considered an upscale restaurant and is perfectly placed in Cherry Creek. My wife commented on the scent of flowers, coming through the door way when we first entered the restaurant. The dramatic lighting and welcoming staff were the next things that we noticed. Nearly every table was filled on this mid-afternoon Friday and it was a good thing that we made a reservation! Our server greeted us almost immediately, provided water and took our drink order. The tables are covered in tablecloths and have a foam topper that makes some of the glassware unsteady, but none of us had any spills. Our server was very patient and offered suggestions as we struggled to find what we wanted among the many good choices! The salads and soups were delivered to our booth fairly quickly and followed up in a reasonable time by our main lunch items. Real Sterling silverware, and the presentation of our meals was something that prompted all of us to want to photograph them! Serving sizes were appropriate, we didn't feel over stuffed and even took half a sandwich with us to go. The restaurant crowd thinned over the course of the 90+ minutes we were there, and never once did we feel slighted by our server who always maintain an awareness of our drinks and food. Great food coupled with excellent service in an environment that was easy to enjoy make this a must stop if you're traveling through Denver, meeting up for a business lunch, or simply enjoying an upscale meal with your favorite friends.
