    They charged me extra for something we didn´t agree with. I…read morebrought my bike to fixe the gear. They told it is no problem, but in worst case sceneario they have to change a piece, (and said it would be max 295DKK). We agreed they will call if they find something else they consider it should be also fixed. 3 days later I got the notification by SMS the bike was ready, but to my surprise they had changed some extra things and wanted to charged me 570 DKK! That sounds for me very unprofessional, reaching the level of almost scam! I said I won´t paid for that extras we did agreed a calling me if case it was something more. They charged me stil more with a discount, but that was still too much over the price,a dn the felling of scam is terrible.

The prices also seemed extremely reasonable. (Roughly $10 for a standard bike for 6 hours.) Let me say upfront that biking Copenhagen was SO FUN and I highly recommend it. But our experience in the store itself, while satisfactory, was a bit chaotic and underwhelming. When we walked in, no one really greeted us and it wasn't clear where to go or what to do. We approached the girl behind the counter and asked if we could rent a bike. Even though there were tons of bikes all around the shop, she looked out back and said, "You have to wait a few minutes." Um, OK. After an awkward pause, she gave us a form to fill out. We did so. When we were done, she took our (US) credit card to pre-pay, and told us to go out back and pick our bikes. She explained that there were 3 levels (budget, standard, and something else I don't remember) and how to identify the bike type by sticker color. In the patio area where we had been directed, there were about 6-8 bikes to choose from. Slim pickings, perhaps because it was a Saturday afternoon and a beautiful sunny day. There were no budget bikes left, but we found two standard bikes that looked nice and took them over to the girl. We recorded the bike numbers and she gave us keys to unlock them. That was it. Having never done anything like this before, we felt under-prepared and asked her to explain the basic hand signals and etiquette. She went over a couple things but basically indicated we would be fine regardless. She did suggest a nice path for us to take (again, very convenient to this location, going along the river). Unfortunately, when we actually got ON the bikes, we realized they were not going to work for us. Seats too high and such. We asked her to adjust, but she couldn't (due to some of the equipment being stuck) so we actually had to switch to two completely different bikes. The whole process took about 30 min, which was longer than I expected. Also, IMO, when you go to a bike rental shop as a tourist, there really ought to be someone guiding you through the process much more clearly than this. But whatever, we got it sorted, took our bikes, and went off through Copenhagen. It was FANTASTIC. Because the city has such great bike lanes -- and because we had GPS on our phones -- we were able to see several different neighborhoods and stop at Freetown Christiania, the Black Diamond, and the Dome of Visions all in the span of a couple hours. The bike seats were VERY hard and uncomfortable. I felt bruised for a couple days afterward. But my guess is that most/all rental bikes will be this way? I dunno. The bike locks worked great and allowed us to feel comfortable stopping a few times and leaving our bikes while we walked around. Also, the brakes and bells worked well, which was handy. I don't know anything about bike gears, except that my bike was initially on a gear that made it quite effort-ful to use, so I had to fiddle with the gears until I got to the easiest one. (Again, something that it would have been nice for Baisikeli to explain and/or fix for me before I left.) When we were done, returning the bikes was super easy. Just lock up, hand the girl the keys, and head out. In all, I would have liked more guidance and a softer bike seat, but the low cost and convenience -- as well as the fabulous time we had biking the city -- made this A-OK.

    Jeg har brugt MT-cykler, da min kæde var hoppet af. Da jeg afleverer cyklen, er der intet andet i…read morevejen med den. Da jeg får cyklen tilbage, virker batteriet ikke korrekt. Kilometerviseren blinker, og der er ingen hjælp at hente fra ellen. Jeg tager min anden cykel, og på vej hjem fra arbejde cykler jeg forbi og snakker med cykelhandleren. Han siger, jeg bare skal komme forbi, så ser han på den. Jeg nævner, at jeg desværre først kan komme forbi fredag (5 dage senere), det var intet problem. Da jeg kommer fredag, viser jeg, hvad fejl der meldes og han siger, det kommer til at koste mig, samt man ikke kan komme så lang tid efter. Jeg forklarer, at det synes jeg ikke er i orden, da cyklen intet fejlede, da jeg afleverede den til ham, samt jeg jo var kommet forbi. Han havde selv sagt, det var okay. Han begynder at snakke rigtig grimt til mig, bl.a. da jeg siger, at der er et eller andet helt galt her, hvortil han svarer, at det er mig, der er gal oppe i hovedet. Jeg skal ikke pudse glorien, for jeg blev rigtig sur, da han snakker sådan til mig. Han siger, at jeg kan gå til 100 cykelhandlere, og hvis der er én, der siger, at det er ham, der har lavet en fejl, så skal han nok betale for det hele. Vi ender i, at han nægter at snakke med mig, stiller min cykel ud og truer med at ringe til politiet, hvis jeg ikke går. Jeg går rystende og lidt bange derfra grundet den meget ubehagelige situation. Jeg går til en anden cykelhandler som aftalt, hvor jeg forklarer dem situationen kort. Dertil siger jeg, at det er vigtigt, jeg på skrift får at vide, hvad fejlen er. Det viser sig, at da cykelhandleren (fra MT) har rykket mit dæk frem og tilbage for at sætte kæden på, har han til sidst ikke fået sat magneten helt korrekt på plads, og dermed registrerer batteriet ikke, at jeg cykler rundt og kan dermed ikke hjælpe til. Jeg tager op til MT igen om lørdagen. Her har jeg taget min far og bror med, da jeg ikke turde gå alene, og tænkte det var smart at have vidner med. Idet jeg træder ind i butikken, er han fra start af ubehagelig og min far må, helt roligt, bede ham tale pænt. Cykelhandleren nægter alle aftaler og begynder sige, at jeg har sagt en masse grimme ting til ham, og at jeg har løjet om en masse ting, han skulle have sagt til mig. Han nævner flere gange, at han har det på kamera med lyd - men han vil ikke vise os det, for det behøver han ikke. Dagen før ville han ikke snakke med mig, men ville snakke med min kæreste i telefonen og da jeg kommer dagen efter, vil han kun snakke med min far - det påtaler jeg, da jeg er kunden så han skal snakke med mig, hvortil han begynder sige, jeg kalder ham racist. Vi vælger at gå, da vi godt kan se, at vi ikke kommer nogle vegne med aftalen. Da vi går følger han efter os ud af butikken, hvor han siger, at en anden gang kan jeg tage flere med, hvis jeg vil true ham sådan. Jeg har hverken kaldt ham noget, truet ham eller snydt ham - alligevel kostede det mig 150 kr., at han puttede kæden på, men så fik jeg en ødelagt cykel tilbage + 350 kr., for fejlfinding, hvor det viser sig, at det er mekanikeren fra MT-cykler, der har lavet fejlen. Jeg har tidligere brugt dem og giver dem 5-stjerner, da de har været hurtige, effektive og hjælpsomme. Men jeg stoler ikke på dem, når de ikke kan stå inde for at begå en fejl. Vi alle begår fejl i vores arbejde - men det mener de ikke, at de gør, og så bliver jeg som kunde talt grimt til for det. Jeg anbefaler ikke længere MT-cykler, og jeg vil råde jer til at passe på, så I ikke ender i samme situation som mig.
