In a way, it was not a surprise, considering the consistent and exasperating slowness, lack of interest and passiveness of the aforementioned lawyer throughout a process which lasted nearly 1,5 years (mediation only) - unless when it came to billing time of course. If you are an expat with barely any knowledge of the legal framework in Belgium, please stay away.
