I live 5 minutes away, it is literally on…read morethe way home, and the price for a newborn was about $15-$65 cheaper than any other place in the area. Starting with the good, they are open to just about anything for your kids. Cloth diapers, no problem. Wanna visit during the day, come on in. They even teach baby sign language, which to me is just awesome! Security is also a great effort to me, as they have coded locks on the doors that only the parents and employees have access to. Also, I liked the idea of multiple entry points (translated to multiple exit points in case of emergency) and their philosophy of getting the kids outside even just for a few minutes weather permitting, including the newborns. Where this place went wrong was in the lack of communication. My wife and I were all set to enroll our baby here back in February. We asked for an August spot as the baby was not yet born. We were informed there were two babies who could be moved into the toddler room about mid summer, and they had no babies on a wait list. One of the other parents with children already enrolled would be giving birth about the same time as my wife, but with two spots opening, it wouldn't be an issue. They took our information, and REFUSED to take a deposit. I should have known then that things were going to go bad, but they really seemed to have it together and we never questioned it, although we did insist on making a deposit, to which they repeatedly refused with a smile. Fast forward to just about 3 weeks ago, we are getting our ducks in a row and call the daycare to arrange for enrollment. At this point, the toddlers were not quite ready to be moved, but there was another parent falling behind in terms of payment, and they asked for a couple of days to figure out if they would be dropping that parent or moving the others a bit early. We obliged. After about 4 days, my wife called again. This time we were given the news that the owner had taken in two babies and our spot was no longer available. Apparently a woman with a baby and a 18 month old had come in last minute looking for daycare and the owner took them in without regard to the wait list, and effectively gave away both spots that would be available. The third spot, from the parent falling behind would be going to the other mother who already had children enrolled. What a croc!?? I was (and still am) furious over this. My initial reaction was to march up there and demand my child be taken in and the other parent put on the wait list. However, as I sat and considered the possibilities, it became clear to me that my disdain for the owner might result in a very bad experience for my child. Demanding they take him in after our verbal agreement would only result in bad blood, and I don't want my child paying the price for my temper, no matter how inconvenient my other daycare options would be. In all, if you are considering Learning Safari, be warned. Get a guarantee, insist on the deposit, and call regularly until you are enrolled to avoid the kind of crap we had to go through with just weeks to go before my wife had to return to work. Being a new parent is stressful enough without having to deal with inconsiderate owners!

This place has failed my son and my family. First two days…read moreat this establishment my son develops Bronchitis due to someone else child. We have to keep him out of day care for two weeks to get healthy. On the first day back to their daycare he gets Chicken Pox. So that's three days there and 3 illnesses. We have already paid 500 dollars for their services and they won't refund any of our money. But worse they take no responsibility for his illness. They didn't even want to report it when I called. Not to mention they have the children take 4 hour naps, the constantly taking all the wipes and diapers from my sons bag to use on other children, and the lack of information when it comes to what is being done with your child. After our talk with Kidsplay I received a land slid of incorrect info on my child's day their. So bad that he was picked up at 2 by his grandmother, but they still put in the information that he had a diaper change at 3pm. I am so disappointed in this place and will not being sending my child back! I urge any parent to do the same!!! I contacted them at 9am about the situation, and they didn't inform anyone until 1:30pm

She is ALWAYS so pleasant, seems as though she never experience a "Bad Day." She is ALWAYS optimistic and supportive. Always there when I needed a listening hears (after dropping the kids off to their class of course). Teachers: ALL are awesome and truly enjoys what they do. You can tell. It shines through their work. You know the difference when someone is looking for a check vs being called to do this work. Honestly, I don't know how they do it, because my 2 alone is more than enough lol lol. The teachers from the baby room on up is so energetic and the kiddos responded well. We filled out all of the forms, got new items he needed to start on Monday. I called today, 6/4 and told them I would drop the forms off on my way home. I spoke to a different person there who said that they only had openings Tuesday/Thursday. I said that's impossible, my son and I had spent 35 minutes with the Director on Monday evening and she knew we were only looking for full-time. She said that I was mistaken and that they didn't have full-time openings. I have 4 of my own kids that have gone to daycare and now am enrolling my grandson in daycare and I have NEVER had this happen. If for some reason they didn't want my grandson to attend (which is what it sounds like) then tell us that while we were there on Monday; don't give us all the forms and all the information to make it look like he could be enrolled. I would NEVER use this daycare and will be reporting them to corporate as well. Waste of time and extremely frustrating. They participate in numerous field trips. The menu in the cafeteria also has very healthy items. The summer camp is also wonderful with numerous fun activities but my favorite part of summer camp is the swimming lessons. They do have a very nice swimming pool on campus (fenced) and teach swimming every day during the summer. Lessons are dependent on ability and age. There is even parent observation day at the end of the summer. No this place isn't cheap but well worth the money. Overall my favorite aspects: 1) Before and after school care 2) Summer camp swimming lessons 3) Small class sizes 4) Safe, diverse and comfortable environment

These kids tended to be from affluent families and made fun of his clothes or shoes. There became more concerning issues when one child was being threatening towards the children in the class. When we expressed concern the teacher became defensive of the other child and it became very uncomfortable after we had built what I thought was a good report. I found out later that the teacher was close with the other family and even went on a ski trip with them. The director also showed little concern for these more serious issues. I also had to address the fact that my daughters class never washed with soap and water but used hand sanitizer instead. Both of my kids would express that the wrong kids were often disciplined and others got away with whatever they wanted. Every day I asked them how school was and they had nothing good to report sadly. It was hugely disappointing for the amount of money spent there.
