I bought a dress described as having "extra fullness," and shown in a photo of a model wearing it in the beige or nude color I wanted. I liked the idea of extra fullness, and saw in the picture that it was not at all see through. When I received it, it did NOT have extra fullness. The bottom of the dress was just one thin piece of chiffon and it was very see through. I also bought it in my regular size which was described on their sizing graph, but it felt too tight to dance in. It had an attached brief, making it most likely difficult to go to the bathroom. There was nothing saying that the dress would have an attached brief. Only 1 item out of the 4 items was "as described." The customer service person, Karley, said that I can return 2 of the items, and pay my own postage, and wait a few weeks after that for a refund. After writing this review, the company has been kind enough to give me a refund, and now I am happy. read more

This is my second year ordering with Just for Kix. The first year, our uniforms didn't hold up the entire season-it was part mesh-so I didn't fret. But this year has been horrific. I let Nicole know what I wanted to order, and she let me order items that were no longer in production. She missed part of my order and stopped responding. I managed to connect with someone else, and she was great until she realized part of our order was missing...she too stopped responding. This company sells over priced uniforms that don't hold up, and they dont take returns/exchanges. If there is a loose thread and it came that way in the packaging you're to blame. If your dancer tries shoes on, that they fitted, and they don't fit, good luck. They will not be "re-sellable" and you will have to buy another pair. Not a fat chance in hell will I keep dumping money into this company. read more

Just For Kix offers cute items. However, I will never order online from them again. They have the absolute customer service for a business that thrives on customer service. I have dealt with them on 3 separate occasions/orders, and each time, their service has been awful. They make mistakes and do not accept responsibility. I had my daughter dancing at JFK for 2 years, and honestly I was not happy with the choreography or the progress. If you are looking for JUST kick/dance line dancing- this is the place to be. Otherwise, if you are looking for actual technical dance instruction I suggest you look into a private dance studio. Everything was so disorganized, and being that my daughter wants to be able to dance well into college this just wasn't the place for her to actually excel. My daughter has been dancing with Just For Kix for 12 years and we have had nothing but good experiences with them. She participates in several classes from the Kix to Jazz and Hip Hop as well as some of the additional classes such as Toy Soldiers and Rockettes. The costumes are very reasonably priced considering they are used for a couple of years. Other dance companies require a new costume every season. We have had issues with a costume not fitting due to me ordering the wrong size, but exchanges were absolutely not a problem and were handled very quickly. I also feel that the competition fees are very reasonable especially compared to some other dance companies. My daughter has also had the opportunity to dance at the Outback Bowl in Florida with the Just For Kix group twice. The trips were both very organized and fun for the girls with a good balance of practice and side trip activities. I cannot say enough positive things about Just For Kix. The overall philosophy is that each dancer strives to do their best. There are no try-outs and the girls are not competing against each other; everyone works together.
