Terrible experience installed two units one in my house one in my mother's. Less than a year ago, my unit still doesn't have a heating portion. My mother doesn't cool, they came 2 times already and couldn't fix the problem, they do not want to come the third time. Why? Believe it or not, they tried to charge for warranty repairs and the last one for warranty repairs that didn't fix the issue. So to come and fix an issue they want me to pay for the time they came and didn't fix it first (then probably charge for this third visit too). And both units are still under warranty. None of the installed units works. Considering court, if anybody knows a good lawyer let me know. read more

My AC stopped working and after changing the fuse myself with no luck I knew I needed a professional. I had worked with Just in Time once before for a small issue so I called them first. They were quick to come out and told me I needed a whole new ac unit. Something I expected since my inside unit was 14 years old. Lynn and her guys made the whole process quick and easy. Lynn was friendly and walked me through the process of financing, delivery and installation. The repairmen were so nice and made a nine hour installation less stressful than I expected. Most people don't relish the thought of spending money on air conditioner and appliance repair. Usually it is an unexpected but necessary expense. However, if these type of services are needed, I am glad my family has found Just in Time, a company that is reliable, fair, and will just get the job done promptly. Last year our air conditioner broke down in the middle of summer. At first we called our "go to" places, the larger, more well known air conditioning repair places. All of them could not come for at least a day. Call me spoiled, but it is impossible for me to live in a house in South Florida without air conditioning, even for a day! We finally called Just In Time and spoke to one of the owners, Lynn. Lynn got a technician out to our house within a couple of hours. Presto! Our air conditioning was fixed quickly for a reasonable price. Just In Time also offered us a maintenance contract for a very reasonable price which we took advantage of. Our air conditioner was checked midway through the year and we have had no problems. Fast forward to our brand new house which came with a mess of an air conditioning system. Just in Time had to make major repairs to our air conditioning system, actually replacing half of it! The technicians who came were always prompt and courteous. Most importantly, they got the job done for a very fair price. Just in Time also does appliance repair. We are using them now to fix a dishwasher. It seems that whenever we need something fixed in our house, Just in Time is there for us. Lynn and Joe, the owners, run a family business. This company is local, awesome, and most important honest! The owners are responsive and nice people. The tech's are hard working, thorough, and honest. If you're having an issue and you call them they will go to great lengths to figure out what exactly is the problem and then try to fix it on the same call. We recently had issues with our A/C. We called Just-In-Time, they sent a tech. The tech was here at the house testing everything he could to pinpoint and diagnose the issue. It was a bit of trial and error with a few things. I truly believe most other companies would cop out and tell me that we have no other choice but to replace the compressor. While the compressor might still be bad the tech was able to make some repairs to get the A/C to work properly and said that all the testing he did may have contributed to the compressor failure. He said that instead of just recommending its replacement, he's going to call it in to have the office check the compressor's warranty and get it ready to replace in case it makes hissing noises again but also said that we might be just be ok. Just-In-Time is the kind of company you want to have on your shortlist for appliance repairs. read more

I had this company come to my home to diagnose a service problem with my wine cooler. I called on a Wed and was told that I would likely see a tech by the next day because I was close to their offices. I was promised a call on Thursday morning. No call came, pity. I called back late Thursday and spoke to someone who said I could expect a tech the next afternoon. The tech came and diagnosed the problem - a couple of fans needed to be replaced. I paid the $88 fee which entitles one to put $44 towards the subsequent repair. The following Monday, I received an email that simple said "please see attached". That is all it said, no hello, no notes, etc.. The attachment was an invoice for the parts and labor with a diagnosis that "customer said unit is not cooling". That sounds fine but it doesn't at all begin to explain the true problem diagnosed by the tech. There is a charge of $149 for labor plus additional for parts. I write back to the company and ask for an explanation. Two days later I receive a reply stating that they were sorry about the description and noted that their tech made the right diagnosis of fans needing to be replaced. They further explained that the $149 charge is for an hour of labor. Okay, so I give the authorization to do the job by return email. The next day I receive another email stating the following, "Thank you for your prompt reply. We will order the parts however, we do ask for the amount of parts plus tax which would be $86.17. For your convenience, we accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover. The balance is payable when the repair is complete. You can either reply to this email with the credit card information or call our office at (954) 320-6850." So, 8 days to achieve this moment. I am certainly not going to send my credit card information via email and I find it exasperating that I am required to call their office to pay $86.17. I'm done trying to work with Just in Time and wishing that I never contacted this company to begin with. I wish they'd live up to their moniker. There is a theme in their reviews around communication with customers. It is poor and broken and I am sure that it is taking away from this company's reputation. Over the last 3 years, we have purchased 3 A/C units from Just In Time for a 4000 sq-ft home. They have been cost effective, honest and punctual. When they say that they will do something - it happens on time, at the specified price. Over time we have learned that their level of professionalism is rare in the A/C business - many of their competitors simply cannot be trusted, or depended upon - so Just In Time AC gets all my business. Indeed, they have intervened on our behalf with a manufacturers warranty to get coverage on a system that was installed by one of their competitors. Their competitor declined to be responsible for their own manufacturer's warranty! Lynn just said "Let me see what I can do". Just In Time got our business to replace the defective components, and we switched over to them ever since. Today they saved my washing machine! I got it from them in 2006 and it still was running perfect until my teenager started washing his clothes! The tech came quickly on time and found lots of coins in the drain! He immediately cleaned everything out and brought my washing machine back to its normal use! We called Just in Time after having them come out last year and doing a great job on our range. We had an issue with our refrigerator and the warranty company sent out a company that had to come out several times, never fixing the problem. The last time they told us that they didn't know how fix it and promptly left. We went back and forth and back and forth on the warranty. Finally we asked if we could have Just in Time come out and look at it. In literally 5 minutes they said it needed a new compressor they ordered it and fixed it. They were professional , courteous and they showed up on time. That was 6 months ago and our refrigerator is still running perfectly. I have had good service from these folks in the past. However yesterday I had the rudest woman answer the phone. And because of her poor phone manners while handling my call, I asked the folks from my Home Depot warranty that I wanted another service company. The woman first starts out with a very crude tone on the phone. Aside from that she was very disrespectful. She kept saying that I wasn't listening . Then she gave me the information I needed and I thanked her and hung up. Two minutes later she calls me back to say that I had been rude to her. Who does that from a place of business?? I'm buying a new home and they send a guy out to give me a quote for a mess of an A/C system. Not only did he wait for a 1/2 hour for the agent to open the door but he took his time explaining everything what was wrong with the mish-mash system that was currently in the house. I'd probably look elsewhere for your appliance repair needs. In my case, i have a small Perlick fridge that needing diagnosing. There are only 3 companies that service Perlick locally. The JIT tech was courteous, but the diagnosis wasn't very confident. When the estimate arrived, the part was marked up 50%. Listen, I understand companies need to make money, but with the internet in this day and age, it's easy enough to know what a part cost. In this case the part directly from Perlick is $205, but Just In Time wanted $315. That's over a 50% markup which is just not fair practice in the current market of online retail. If I could give this company zero stars I would. From the start Lynn, who works in the office was rude. I scheduled service with this company for a store we have in Sunrise, FL. They were a no call no show. They then said they would try to go over the weekend and would let me know and if not they would be there first thing Monday morning. They answered no calls, no emails. Monday morning the technician called telling me he was on his way. After calling the technician back 2 hours later since I did not hear from him, he stated he was rerouted and he believes his boss would be going to service the location. After calling the company to see what was going on and to confirm someone would be there today, they stated they wouldn't be going. I told Lynn that their company does not know how to do business and hung up the phone. I then received a phone call back from Lynn yelling " DO NOT HANG UP ON ME. THAT IS RUDE. YOU ARE A BITC*, FUC* YOU!" I am shocked this is how this company acts. Lynn should be fired, although sadly enough I am pretty sure she may be the owners wife. Absolutely terrible customer service. They don't answer the phone and don't return calls. They diagnosed a problem with my dishwasher, took my $88, half of which is to be applied to the cost of the part , and after a week I can't even confirm that the part has been ordered and when it can be installed. This company was chosen by LG to repair my refrigerator. LG shipped a new compressor directly to me and Just In Time did the installation. First, trying to get them here was a task unto itself. It took a few days, they claimed they were very busy. Finally, their technicians came on a Monday and replaced the compressor. The technician said to allow the refrigerator 24 to get cold. Well, it didn't get one degree colder. I called Just In Time and was told it would take days for them to send someone out. I wound up calling LG and they sent one of their own technicians out today (Wednesday). Their technician was wonderful and very through. He told me that Just In Time did not install the compressor properly and when soldering a copper tube they actually soldered it totally shut so no freon could pass through. I have a picture of it. The LG technician said it would have been so easy for the other technicians to check if everything was working properly and they obviously did not. read more

One word...HORRIBLE. I had the company come out and do a routine maintenance on my ac. While their they said my expansion valve was not working. I asked if this could be due to duct work issue I think I may have. They said yes. I asked if they would look at duct work and they said that since my entry was in garage it was to far to crawl. After they left I climbed into my attic and took pictures. I sent them pictures and told them there was a few areas that weren't in the pictures that needed fixed. I would think that they would have had their tech come out and look at it to mAke a more adequate estimate...but no. They sent me a estimate for 1200.00 to fix valve and the additional 175.00 to fix duct work. Mind you my unit is 3 years old and under a a parts warranty. I called them back and told him that I wanted to just fix the ductwork. I had asked a couple other companies and they said that the ductwork may have something to do with that not working correctly. So they sent me a new estimate for the ductwork for $360. Meanwhile they had sent a previous estimate for $175 for the job. They came out they fixed the duct work. I asked them to please take pictures of the work that they did just as proof. A couple days later I went back up into the attic to check out the ductwork. There was one duct that was still blowing cold air into the attic. I called back and let them know and they said that that was not part of the ductwork to be fixed . I just feel that a good company would tell the home owner if there were other issues that were not quoted that need to be fixed. If I am paying to have my duct work fixed I want it all fixed. Why would I just want half of the work done???? Needless to say this part of the ductwork was fixed by then but just came apart and they are denying that they did any work. So when I asked him to please come out and fix that ductwork they sent me another bill for $395. When I called up to speak to the manager she told me that that was not included in the ductwork quote. I asked her how would she know what was included in the ductwork when I was the one who went up in the attic. Their technician was never up there....they were going by pictures I took. A week later and now my AC stopped working completely and was blowing hot air out of the vents. I called the office to ask them why I have a brand new unit and it worked perfectly fine until I had the maintenance done and now it's not working. The office manager told me that she would much rather not ever have to deal with me again and that I should call another company. She told me that if I would've had the work done they quoted me for in the first place that maybe my AC would be working. What horrible customer service! I would never ever use this company I recommend them to anyone. Needless to say I called air around the clock and they were out that day and fixed it. It had nothing to do with the valve it was something else that broke and turned the heater on on the unit. Thank you Dean from the air around the clock... You rock! Sorry Just in Time but I wouldn't even give your name to my worst enemy. You're a terrible company with terrible customer service!!!
