I checked the outside service pipe and saw that the water was almost up to the ground level. Experiencing a similar thing at my previous home I knew something was clogged further down the sewer line. Kalob came out to snake the line all the way to the main sewer line. What he found out was a chunk of the pipe was missing near the main sewer so the sewage was seeping into the ground. Could definitely smell it. He gave me the quote same day and I approved the work. Saturday morning him and his team came out and repaired the broken part of the pipe. While doing the repair he discovered that the fiber company installed their fiber lines directly through the sewer line. We've only moved in a month ago so there's no way we would have known. I am please with the work he did and we no longer have the sewer issue and no longer have a hole in the lawn. I didn't understand the hole when we purchased the home, I just thought maybe a big rock or chuck of concrete was removed at some point. Called McKenna who sent tech out who spent 10 minutes to discover a small hose was rubbing against a pressure switch which he simply moved. I was charged a $79 fee because it was "out of warranty" which granted it was by 4 months but it is also a brand new system I spent over 7k on and this type of fault shouldn't be occurring. After speaking with the office manager she said they would review my case and call me back with a decision. Today the fee was processed with no call and I am disappointed because it seems to be more about the money than common sense or good customer service.

Upon starting the job he notice a problem with the original plan and made a recommendation to keep the cost down the original plan was to remove the a cool to hook up the vacuum but was not going to be able with out recharging the whole system with R 22. So he recommended to instead to do a different method although not as thorough saved a lot of money. As R 22 is being phased out and a couple of hundred dollars a pound and needing around 5 lbs. He was a very honest, friendly, and hard working.
