I reached out and after providing all of my information, I was told that they do not currently offer ARM rates. Shameless false advertising! After several disappointing experiences with loan companies, we received a mailer from JWH Finance, with an offer that seemed almost too good to be true. Skeptical as we were by that point, we almost tossed it. Fortunately for us, we took a moment to check the company's reviews online, on several platforms. Those reviews were so unanimously and unequivocally strong that I reached out, connecting with Boris Kayhan. Boris impressed me immediately as both highly intelligent and a real person. By that I mean, he came across as genuine and straightforward, as well as pleasant and personable, a rarity in this industry. In addition to being highly knowledgeable, he also had an excellent sense of humor, which made talking with him enjoyable. Other loan companies had changed their tune midstream, suddenly unable to keep the promises they made initially, leaving us high and dry. Boris, in contrast, was steady as a rock, from start to finish. JWH Finance closed on our loan (a refi) in just three weeks! Every promise was kept. No changes were sprung on us. And they didn't give me a hard time just because I was self-employed. All other members of the team we interfaced with were great, too, including the pipeline manager at JWH (shout out to Fabian!) and the underwriter at UWM (way to go, Jennifer!). Boris's communication was amazing. He always responded promptly to emails and phone calls. He always had time to speak with me, patiently, like an old friend who had our best interests at heart, rather than a salesman. I got a soliciting mail from them and decided to apply online to refinance my condo. I provided ALL information they asked including ALL details: payments, taxes, insurance, assets, income, social security number, etc. Everything! Other lenders after receiving all that information send you a "loan estimate" when you can see clearly all closing costs and all details. But that didn't happen with Leslie Jenson I was assigned to work with. She sent me some misleading "good looking estimates". I asked for a "Loan estimate", but she keep asking me to send her all documents, required for the loan!? After I've done that and reminded her to send me "Loan estimates" - she kept asking questions and didn't send me what I asked. It took a few days to get a "loan estimate" (yes it was a weekend, but since she works on weekends - it counts, right?)! When I said that I am not going to wait for another day - I got a loan estimate! I was not surprised to see total closing costs almost 2x times higher than what she told me in the email. When I pointed that her loan estimate closing costs do not match email closing costs, she pretended that she doesn't understand what I am talking about. Is it miscommunication or misleading technique to attract customers? You decide! read more

Bobby Mir is the consummate professional. I used him last year to replace a 1.9% 5 year ARM that was expiring. Bobby was fast and had all the correct answers when contacted. I own multiple homes and have dealt with dozens of lenders over the decades, so I know what is important and what is fluff. This year, with the falling rates, I chose to refi with JWH again and this time, pull some cash out to do some things. Bobby was able to get the loan into escrow, fast, even though I was out of the country for almost a month. As happens these days, lots of things can delay and disrupt the lending process. In this case, the loan servicer was merging and wanted to change the payment method, the title company had the wrong ownership on the escrow docs and the appraiser screwed up by not listing rooms and features of the house accurately. Each time, Bobby was quickly able to work through the mess left by these incompetents when I contacted him. The refi with a cash out ended up saving me about $500/month. His source of the loan paid for the entire cost of closing: Appraisal, Title, Escrow, etc, etc, etc, It is good to have someone like Bobby Mir "watching your financial back". read more

A few years ago, I refinanced my mortgage with JWH Finance and John Sheetz (broker). Everything was pretty straightforward; they followed the rules as any others. Except they never mentioned or informed me that United Wholesale Mortgage (lender) was not a bank. As a result, today I cannot negotiate a lower rate, and I have had to restart the process again. You cannot renegotiate your loan with an institution that is not a bank. So, I reached FWH Finance to lower my interest rate and, it took me some tricks and a few months before reconnecting with JWH Finance. They never returned my calls. And finally, when they reached me back, refinancing had just been a nightmare. They asked me for the wrong information. For instance, they asked for IRS form 1120, US Corp Income Tax Return, but I am either on w2 or 1099. I was amazed by the lack of professionalism this time. NO follow up and I am still waiting for the result of the case I opened. I will say that they do not care about customers and if your case requires some work. For instance, they do not understand what to do when you are on 1099. Also, as a customer, they never reached out to tell me that I could benefit from a lower interest rate for my mortgage. Their strategy is to look for one-time customers, get their commission, and that is it. Their goal is to complete as many transactions as they can. Per my experience, I do not recommend working with JWH Finance, or you may be trapped in some bad situation. read more

Amazingly fast refinancing! We inquired about refinancing around the first of December 2017. Bobby Mir answered our initial call and from the very beginning, he was polite, professional, kept promises, and answered our questions quickly. We wanted to consolidate two loans and some credit card debt. Bobby was very knowledgeable about all the different loans that we might qualify for and he made sure that the loan he recommended for us was the one that saved us the most money. Everything was handled over the phone and/or via email. We signed authorizations via DocuSign online and once the final paper work was completed, a Notary Public came to our home. We never had to go anywhere. Whenever we had questions, Bobby would respond almost immediately to our inquiry. We even received answers from him after working hours on a Friday evening. It's all true. Upon closing my speedy, painless, cashout refi with them, I was reminded by Boris in one of our last email exchanges of my initial contact to him (which btw I believe was a Saturday night at 10pm, to which I got a real reply within 10 min) in which after reading their too good to be true reviews I remarked in my email to him "either it's the truth or you guys have a lot of friends..." (lots more reviews on google too). Turns out it's simply all true, and in turn I'm sure they've made a lot of friends. If you've ever gone through the painstaking process of trying to refinance and for whatever reason didn't make it to the finish line, you probably got the feeling along the way that you and the lender were on opposite teams in a tug of war always nitpicking and asking way too may irrelevant questions, while you give all you possibly can of yourself only to have it fly off the rails in the end. Well, these guys are different bc they are on your team. They want to make this work for you and hold your hand through the process. I had just spent over a month trying to increase my measly unused heloc limit with bofa for a small increase amount and it got so tedious and painful that I bailed. They wore me out and I thought I was just going to have to wait till I sold it to see any of my equity. After all, I had banked with bofa for 20 years, they had all my history- so if they couldn't pull it together, then who could?? Boris could. He ended up only using HALF of my income to qualify to get DOUBLE the approval amount that bofa was killing themselves to give me. Bottomline - Do it. It was a pleasant painless process that was completed in a few short weeks and my money is now cozy in my account waiting for its next investment. Boris was super quick to get back via email and he seems pretty normal too - not like a robot behind a computer. I also asked a million (likely annoying) questions along the way, but never felt like I was driving him nuts.
