When I called to place the order, I asked if the limited options on their website were the only thing available. They advised it wasn't and that they customize the basket to my needs. They asked for my budget , which I advised was $85 total. I was expecting FRESH locally grown fruit an associate of GOURMET crackers, jams, cheese, etc. I also asked that they email me a receipt as I had just paid by giving them my card over the phone. These are all the reasons why you should not do business with this florist and spend your money elsewhere. Although I told them I only wanted to spend $85.00 total, they collected more than $100 from my card, and I never was emailed the receipt I requested. On the day of my family members' birthday, I called the florist shop to inquire what time the delivery would be made. I was informed it would be around 3 PM because they were waiting for FRESH fruit to arrive. I called back after 3 PM and was met with a rude, condescending tone and poor customer service. They didn't want to confirm when the basket would be delivered. When I immediately shared the dissatisfaction of the customer service, I was met with "sorry you feel that way" and a slick undertone. In short, my order was delivered around 5 PM on a Friday. My family member was so excited to receive the gift from me and overjoyed at the thought and the deceiving appearance of this "gourmet." When she opened the basket the next morning, we were filled with disgust, disappointment, and felt like we had been robbed. The basket was filled with rotten, molded fruit that looked like it had been pulled from a local dumpster. The container that the strawberries were in was so aged the label was barely visible anymore. It came with a bag of prepackaged almonds that were already opened and a goldfish cracker. There is nothing gourmet about goldfish crackers that's a childrens snack. I sent the owner photos within 24 hours of getting the basket and called several times. No response back! They robbed my family of this special moment. NEVER SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!

When they returned my call at 5:15pm on 9/4, they told me they never placed the order for my flowers, seemed to have no recollection of my order, and told me flat out they could not get my flowers until after my wedding date. They confirmed they did have the paperwork for my order and they still had my emails, but they never marked down the date that the order was needed by. The person on the phone was not apologetic and did not offer any solutions whatsoever. In fact the exact words were, "I don't know what to tell you." We scrambled all night trying to find a shop that was even open and could get the white calla lilies we were hoping for in less than 24 hours. It was a true nightmare situation. We received more sympathy and help from shops we had never spoken to before than the shop who put us in this situation in the first place.

The Glass Orchid has to be one of the best, if not THE best gift shop in Vineland. They're constantly changing their stock and keeping up with seasonal items. It's a small store, but it's CRAMMED with all kinds of goodies. They range from the things you'd expect, like cough drops, get well cards, flowers and small baby gifts, to some really awesome things like primitive home decor, Yankee candles, Burt's Bee's products, hand blown glass, AWESOME jewelry, handbags, perfume and all KINDS of seasonal stuff. Luis emailed and called me within 24 hours and I was immediately impressed. Not only did he listen to our needs and budget, he took the five minutes (that the half dozen other fabricators I visited didn't take) to realize that it's a small kitchen by looking at our layout. He recommended a solution to fit both our needs and his -- to use a remnant, at a better price. We visited within two days and placed a deposit on the spot after a great meeting with Luis and Steve. These young men are committed to their new business and it shows. They committed to our template first thing Monday, and understanding the urgency of our timeline, turned around the installation by this afternoon. Communication was frequent and professional. At no point did I feel like we got a leftover (though we selected a remnant) or that we were rushed (instead we were made a priority). Both Luis and Steve went over and above multiple times during this project, and I find that exceptional at a time when we seem to be making excuses for quality service or product. Steve and his helper with skilled with installation, and he took great pride in his work. Our renovation has been months of a very frustrating roller coaster. It's a passion project for my husband, and he wants it to be a quality product when we're finished. It's been a rough road with some disappointments, but this isn't one of them. Genuinely, working with Luis and Steve has been one of the highlights. I wish I had another project I could partner with them again. Maybe a winning lottery ticket will let our paths cross again? Until then, the best thing I can do is continue to refer them to other contacts to help them grow their business (we already referred them to two realtors since). Good luck guys!
