We bought tickets to see the main collection and the Masters collection. For me, 2-3 stars for accessibility to very difficult to navigate as many steps, ledges, slopes to enter each space. I didn't see an elevator/lift. The walkway into the building with the gallery is also sharply angled and cobbled, which makes it hard for anyone with balance issues. Once inside, it is clean and quiet. Simple, but pretty. Unfortunately, my tolerance for crucifix art is limited, so I skipped nearly the whole main gallery. But I enjoyed the Masters gallery in another building across the street, and I love sculpture, so I'd give that gallery a 4. The cafe was hard to find and the wait was exceedingly long to just buy a Pepsi and a bowl of soup, not sure what was going on. All seating was occupied and it was loud and crowded in the cafe, but the galleries were nice and quiet. My family loved both galleries, all floors of each. They are into religious art and have much better endurance, so they stayed in the main gallery for another hour, while I found the cafe.

At 220,- crowns for to people, (1 adult, 1 student) , the tickets was relatively cheap, and we'll worth the price. Not the largest museum in the world but enough for 25-30 minutes of good fun.

There were all sorts of wax figures, such as historical figures, communist leaders, American presidents, and movie stars. The wax figures were neat to look at, but not all figures had signs, and those that had signs only had their name, no explanation of who they were, which would have been nice. I wouldn't highly recommend this museum, but if you have time in the evening, it's worth a look. Just make sure you don't need to use the bathroom, as like the torture museum, there's no bathroom.

It's n ur and not crowded at all...very unique and quite a collection of old master pieces of painting, sculptures and other abstracts. It's not my of tea, but learned plenty of medical period. The gates are guarded pretty heavily but there seemed to be a bunch of tourists taking photos of the motionless guards. This is a truly special museum…read more The grounds and buildings are impressive in scope and age. The feeling of old meets new that one can catch across Prague adjusts for a moment, particularly on a dreary, rainy Tuesday, is strong but in many ways archeological. When you find your way through the exhibits, the portions of the building that are open to the public often contain photos and information from archeological digs at the sight. Outside, you can see the heater that was unearthed and helped confirm some of the personality that overlays the stories of St Agnes. The art is exquisite. The variety and scope of medieval bohemian art is deep and broad and captures a number of mediums and saints particularly meaningful for the region. I would highly recommend St Agnes to anyone visiting Prague and would happily return for a second look as well.

Works from all areas and dates ranging from 500ad to the last century. Story of Agnes coming from the royal family and the difficulties she and the other women running the monastery is intriguing.
