They've essentially erased the character of the home and left whoever buys it with maintenance unnecessary with unpainted brick. Paint prevents brick to breathe and thus blocks moisture. And it would require about $100,000 to sand blast or chemically remove that paint. HGTV whiteness may be trendy today but it won't be forever.

We signed a contract for a marble counter top and marble backsplash install. We found the last 2…read moreslabs in the USA that we liked. Upon 1st installation they mismeasured the counter top and had to go back and cut again. No lines in the top lined up for a "pattern". They returned a 2nd day to install the backsplash and they cut a 48" piece to short! They said they would take a piece from the bathroom backsplash and "splice" it in. We told them absolutely not as you would see the piece immediately when entering the kitchen. When we asked what were they going to do Angel said she was calling to find another slab but there are none. We told her we would look for 2 more other slabs that we liked. She did find them and we went to see them and liked them. She was shocked that we would not agree to pay for part of the new slabs! They cut the other ones wrong, clearly there fault! I sat down for an hour and laid out each slab with every cut for entire kitchen so the pattern would flow. Went to there shop, my wife and I used blue tape and marked both slabs for all cuts. Went to shop couple days before install and owner said slab could not be cut the way I wanted because computer said so. I told him that the slab was long enough and tall enough that IT is going to work my way. He commented that the only way to cut the slabs the way I wanted was to cut the slabs old school. I said well that is what needs to happen. Long story short, when the backsplash went in, the did not cut the heights of the slabs tall enough. We had gaps from 1/8" (totally what we expected) to 1/2" gaps in other areas. They said that is normal! It is not. After 30 years or more in the business they are still not good enough for this work. Scheduling was a night mare to get us finished and after "discussions" on the phone we finally settled on a discount from total price. We would not recommend them again. They had previously installed granite in our kitchen (counter tops only and 4" backsplash and our outdoor grill) and this work was nice 15 years ago. Be careful and totally talk to them about what you want and what you expect before signing a contract. Good luck!

When I asked for a reference of someone who might be able to do the job she told me to "try calling someone in Indianapolis." Didn't get anywhere. Probably need to stop advertising services they don't provide.
