Welp. I'm updating my review because I wrote the review yesterday. She emailed me with the copy of…read morethe 2024 as I requested, but 12 hours after she said she sent it to me. (I checked my spam and mentioned that i will hadn't received it.) She was kind and considerate, until I said that I was at a wedding and couldn't respond. I am now pretty shaken about the exchange I had. You can judge for yourself if you want her for your CPA. I tried to delete my review, but I was met with an error message. To be clear, I never asked her for a refund for what I paid her for her services. I never said quoting a price was illegal. I'm not sure why she said that, honestly. I think people that receive a service should be paid in full, which I did. I wasn't trying to skirt out of any payment. I was going to edit my entire review. Instead, I'm trying to delete a review at almost 1 in the morning because of this exchange I received and it completely ruined my whole night and happy wedding/celebratory mood and replaced it with unnecessary stress because she wanted the review removed before 3am.

Fair point -- I went back to the attorney who drafted it, had them add my name in the body, and confirmed the document complied with California notary law . Came back later in the day with the revised document. Rudy looked at it and said "something seems off." That was the entire explanation. No identification of what was off, no specific provision he objected to, no questions about my ID or the underlying transaction. Just refused. Took the same document to another commissioned California notary that same day. They reviewed it, verified my ID, administered the oath, and notarized it without any issue. Two visits, two trips back to my attorney for revisions he requested, and ultimately a vague refusal with no actionable feedback. A notary's job is to verify identity and witness an oath. If specific concerns exist, communicate them clearly so they can be addressed. "Something seems off" after you've already made the customer revise the document once isn't professional -- it's wasting their time.

They shared a portal for us to upload docs into. It took us a few weeks to get started uploading those docs but we're still within their purported time-frame in mid-February. We had some access issues that, for myself, they fixed; that was not fixed for my wife and we had to bug them several times in the last week before our scheduled tax prep meeting. They then reached out to me, saying that they can no longer work with us and that they'll delete all the files I uploaded to their vault. When I asked them why, they did not respond.
