My sister invited us to her community's fall festival and my daughter + her cousins were absolutely enamored with the setup and happily ran around for a good fifteen minutes chasing kids with their guns and hiding out in the several forts the company had set up. They came in with absolutely no laser tag knowledge but the friendly group of teenagers running the booth taught them how to play + reload their guns. I don't think the girls retained any of the information but they had lots of fun anyways. The set up was really easy and I thought it was a fun extra element to add to a birthday party or community event. I'd definitely recommend this locally-owned business to friends in the future.

I wanted to improve the score for the place. When you first arrive to the building, you might be a little nervous about its location in an area of mostly industrial-type buildings. But keep going. Once inside, the children started in a room (cramped) with two bounce houses. However, we learned that they will soon be doing away with this part and replacing it with party games instead. The kids bounce (or play games) for about 45 minutes. Then a bell rings and you head into the "theater." The kids sit on the floor, and there are plenty of folding chairs for the grown-ups. The show itself was very, very funny and perfect for the age group we had there. Even the kids under 2 seemed to be enjoying it. My other son is 2 1/2 and was the star of the show. We thought he was going to pass out from the hilarity. He (and Louis the Magician) had us in tears. Louis did a great job of getting my normally very shy older son to volunteer and enjoy being part of the show as the birthday boy. After another 40 minutes or so, we moved downstairs to the party room for pizza (they call Papa John's for you - $10/large with whatever toppings you want). The girls that are the party helpers got the candles lit and the cake cut up and served, along with the juice boxes and ice cream. They did a great job of moving everything around and just getting everything done without needing a lot of instruction from us. I loved not having to worry about anything but a cake and drinks. It was so easy and the show was so much fun. All of the parents seemed to think it was a great party. I wouldn't be surprised if we get invited to one of their kids' parties there in the future. I do agree there could be better communication between Louis as the event approaches. He was very responsive by email, but I had to be proactive. A call a week ahead to confirm everything would be good. That said, I was giddy all weekend because of how great the party was. And the kids are still cracking themselves up over it!

The door is unmarked so you're not really sure which door to go into, the parking spaced are long and very skinny. When you come in you go down to a basement/low ceiling room for the pre-magic show time. It has hard floors so not great for kids running around tripping, etc. The magic show was good and funny, best for kids 2-8 I'd say. It'd be better to have the magician to your own venue or home for a party. I think the idea is good but they need to work on the pre-magic show time and spruce up the venue.

On the day of the party, Stephanie and Steve arrived on site and quickly set up our combo moonbounce (with slide & hoop inside). They helped us secure our personal banner and were patient throughout the process. The moonbounce was a big hit for our kiddos and was the perfect size. Cash or check is preferred to avoid fees on either end - their prices are typical for the area. Definitely will use them again when we are in the market for a bounce house and highly recommend working with them.

At first we were thinking of not having a DJ and just using my MacBook Pro for music. However, due to the suggestion from the venue staff at Brookside Gardens to ensure good audio especially with our plans to be outside (though we ended up indoors due to the near freezing temperatures) we started interviewing DJs both from the venue's recommendations and on WeddingWire to see all they had to offer. We found Hercules Entertainment on WeddingWire and got to meet with Will on Zoom who showed us a presentation of all Hercules Entertainment had to offer. We chose Hercules not only because the prices were a good deal for great experience and enthusiasm, but also since in the uncertainty of COVID and the Omicron Variant, they would livestream our event for only a couple hundred dollars more. From the keyboard we rented from them for our aunt to play, to the excellent audio and amplification for the ceremony and reception, to the high quality live-streaming, to the DJing, to the MCing, everything made our day go even better than we could imagine. The livestream remains online and we are able to relive that day with it until our videography is ready. Dozens of friends, coworkers, and family who could not attend in person enjoyed watching the livestream which was of excellent quality. All 56 of us guests attending in person stayed for the reception and loved Will as a DJ and his wife who played numerous favorites including The Horah, The Humpty Dance, Cha Cha Slide, and my wife's favorite, Taylor Swift, who's hit Lover was featured during our first dance and Shake It Off during the bouquet toss. We totally recommend Will and Hercules Entertainment for your big event anywhere in the DC Metro Area.
