This fabulous walking and cycling route follows the old railway line and is looked after by Sustrans (a transport charity) for everyone. Along the Loop Line trail, there are many different but valuable habitats worth looking out for, such as woodlands and wetland habitats. The open grasslands and grass verges along the trail are an important home and feeding place for many species of birds, mammals and insects which depend on the mix of foliage. If you are a keen cyclist (no need to be an expert) or into nature trails, the Loop Line offers a relaxing journey that goes on for miles.

This was a great way to see areas of Liverpool we wouldn't have otherwise and had I not gotten ill for the remainder of our visit, would have loved to have had a pint or two at the hidden little pub Phil pointed out to us where no tourists go. Even though the day was cold, damp and misty, it was still a great way to spend 3 1/2 hours in Liverpool.

The red route is sufficiently challenging for a couple of loops if you've got a spare few hours. The trails hold up well even in the bad weather which is great when the local trails are too muddy to ride. The cafe is great for a post ride meal - especially the burger. Apparently they serve the best breakfast in Wales..... Car park is £3 which goes towards the upkeep of the forest and trails. Definitely a great trail centre for beginners through to seasoned riders.
I highly recommend Bollington ebikes, tours and hire…read more The tour guide Tom was a great friendly personality with a matching high degree of knowledge of the local landscape and cultural sites that really immersed me in the beautiful English countryside around Bollington. He allows you go at your own pace and after making suggestions, you decide the general route and which sites that you want to see most. Also after the organized tour, you are free to take off on your own. Also the pedal assist with e-bikes makes going up those hills all the more enjoyable. Even the location of the start right around the corner from the Hollin Hall Hotel was perfect and very convenient. It is only a 2 minute walking distance from the hotel Five out five stars, couldn't be any better!

Took my old (2021) trusty for a service. Had really high hopes judging by the reviews (and price) …read more I wasn't in a hurry, left the bike with cyclehouse for about two weeks. Work required: service, and upon furter inspection: new chain, new cassette, new break pads back&front. Asked for the tyre change (brought my own set) Work completed by the shop: full (mid level £100)service + new chain & new casette, guys changed the tyres free of charge which I thought, was a nice touch. Issues: 1. don't get me wrong, my bike wasn't super clean but I'd thought if you're changing the chain and cassette you'd at least wipe/clean the derailleur including pulleys as well as the hub & front sprockets down from the old buildup grease and dirt/gunk. It looks a mess. Makes you think what is actually included in that 'full service' 2. Gears - after collecting and taking the bike for a test drive, noticed that rear cassette was grinding on two or three mid cogs, took it back for a "re-tune", now it's engaging on all but is very noisy and still grinding slightly on two smallest cogs. I'm no expert but maybe slight frond derailleur adjustment would help? 3. Breaks - I thought I'll do them myself as it was a tad more expensive than I would normally pay for the pads; came to changing them and the rear safety pin is missing and I'm 100% sure it was there when I dropped the bike off at cyclehouse

I didn't have a clue what I was looking for but I left there with the perfect bike for me. The after sales are as good if not better! The guys in the workshop must be sick of me! They assembled the bike originally and have been great ever since. They have offered me all sorts of advice. I've had a couple of accidents on the bike whilst I was getting use to cycling for the first time. The accidents left me a little nervous and left my bike requiring a safety check. The guys were quick to reassure me not to worry, just to bring the bike in at my convenience. The turn around on my bike was just 24 hours and the communications were excellent. A particular note to one of the work shop lads. Sorry I don't know his name but he wears glasses. Top draw lad. Patience of a Saint! Thanks a lot to everyone at Cyclehouse

Personally, I have not bought anything from the store as I am not an adventurist although you don't necessarily have to be a camper or a climber. I've been to this supporters club more times than I can count, and have watched matches with the official supporters club in the pub that is dedicated to them on Lower Breck. Like Kev said, "We Liverpool fans cover the Earth and from Anfield all the way to Anartica, you will find us." And it's true. Liverpool may actually sound like a morbid gory spot where Hannibal Lecter discards his uneaten organs that he can't finish, but in fact it's the best and most wonderful football (soccer) team in the world.
