Have eaten here a couple of times, staff are friendly enough and the food is good, however after my experience with the KFC in Cleveleys I won't be eating here or any other KFC again. read more

What an idiot i am, this is by far the best kebab shop in blackpool, possibly lancashire. No fancy burgers, pizzas, indian food, fried chicken e.t.c. here, just kebabs about 6 options altogether, i plumped for a large donner (no salad options on offer just shredded cabbage and onion and a chioce of 5 sauces). It was delicious with home made chilli and garlic sauce and the meat was of a far superior quality that you get at the all singing all dancing takeaway. It is run by a lovely couple, a Scottish lady and i presume her Armeniem husband, who were both very pleasant, welcoming, and nothing seemed too much trouble. I visited early evening about 6pm expecting the lamb to be warmed up or just cooking but this was well cooked and fresh, they dont even open past 10pm so get there early as this is one kebab you can eat sober and savour. If there is a downside it is that the place is a bit dated and could do with a good clean decor wise, but i thought this added to the charm. I tried this place after a search on t'internet for best kebab shops in blackpool this place was there and thats why i tried it, i am going back only once a month though as i have to watch the waistline and look after the cholestrol levels. Verdict: The dogs dangly bits, you have to try it.

Put away your inhibitions, prejudices et al. We are living in a globalizing world. This is very much a a traditional Chinese place, with the front of house staff being relatives. All this is besides the point, the food here really is phenomenal. It really has kept me coming back for more. I had this preconceived idea about Blackpool, and it being a bit of a ghost town. A town which was once great but now a bit of a hole. Let me tell you my preconceived idea was wrong. his really is a great resort town with amazing little hidden eatery gems such as this in American style leafy spacious peaceful suburbs that are a far cry from the slightly tacky nature of the south promenade. Fact is the further up the shore you go, and you don't have to go far by the way, the place really does start to freshen up. Go back to old school people come revisit your youth in Blackpool. While your there and happen to be driving up that North Shore, stop off at Kam Boat to pick up a bite to eat, go sit on the beach and have a Chinese picnic!!! Why the hell not !!

But for larger orders they do offer bigger free items on occassion I would say they are fairly average in price which is great considering the quality of what you are getting

However, the last time I went in to buy food left me feeling angry and upset. I always double check when I order food, and after asking the server if the chips were definitely vegetarian, I was told they were not. Apparently they are cooked in the same oil as pork, and have never been vegetarian. I am appalled that I have previously been lied to about this, and felt very ill upon learning that I had eaten animal products without my knowledge. I am just grateful that none of my allergies were affected, but I certainly won't be chancing that again. Please be very careful if you choose to eat here if you suffer from any kind of food allergy or don't eat certain foods. It's a big health and safety issue as well as affecting customers' ethics. This experience has left me very upset and I hope the restaurant will be more honest with its customers in future.

All in all it was an OK sandwich and the staff were friendly and efficient. I'll probably pop back in again sometime in the future but I won't go out of my way to go there in preference to other sandwich shops.
