Fried pork belly larb combo & Hmong sausage
    Helen H.

My friends wanted to come here. I wasn't too hungry as I ate beforehand. I decided to just order the larb chicken wings. The wings were juicy and crispy. They were also spicy- my mouth was burning. While I once again enjoyed the food, the dining experience was not great. It was very warm inside and I'm not sure if there was AC or not. There was a giant fan pointed toward the front counter/ kitchen area, but not the dining area. I would only get take out next time.

Decided to check this spot out. Never tried Hmong food before. There was actually a good amount of seating and pretty busy for lunch time. Loved the kapoon and Hmong sausage with sticky rice. Definitely would get again. I also tried the pork belly and stick rice which I thought was okay. They don't skimp out on the portions! The pepper sauce is a must - extra flavor and a kick. Everything came out hot and fresh. Will definitely have to come back to try more!

If you haven't tried Hmong food, you guys need to come here. It's a small mom and pop shop and they serve really good food. Pork Belly (comes with sticky rice and side salad) 5/5 - crispy and delicious with the rice. Ask for the pork belly dipping sauce! Boat noodles 4/5 - I wish the meat was more tender but the broth was really good. Nam Vam dessert 5/5 - the perfect dessert Papaya Salad 5/5 - Great flavors. Unique taste and smell. Try it spicy if you dare. So good! Service was fast and the workers were nice. I'll definitely come back especially for the pork belly!

K Fusion is a new Hmong eatery in Sacramento & I had to check it out! The main entrance is a little confusing because it's door to the far right and a little unassuming with nothing but a "grand opening" sign above it. The secondary entrance right under the store sign (that looks like that main entrance) actually leads to the dining area and not straight to the register, lol. This is a spot where you order at the register first, then find a seat/table in the dining area. The film dining area was clean and organized. There were condiments at every table, and a station where you pour your own water + grab utensils and extra sauces. I ordered the fried pork belly that comes with sticky rice and a side salad to-go. The pork belly was good, equally crispy and tender. My fav part of the combo was the quality of the sticky rice. Wasn't a fan of having the side salad inside the same container as steaming hot food.

The good is really yummy and delicious! It really exceeded our expectations. The three color drink Van Nam was so good, I can't wait to have all the food and dessert drink again. They have a lot of side sauce and condiments like Pickled Jalopenos, sugar, chili oil, and peppers and a type of sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls. The price is fair and excellent portions and especially the eggrolls. We had the catfish with laab plate, pork belly with laab. Each plate had amazing portions and high quality flavors.

They just opened and it's a small mom-and-pop spot specializing in Hmong fusion food. This is some of the best food I've had in a long time. We ordered the egg rolls, boat noodle, pork belly laab, chicken wing laab, and the pig & intestine stir fry, and not a single dish missed. EVERYTHING was a hit. That almost never happens. Everything is made to order and tastes incredibly fresh, yet it all came out within just a few minutes. It's a fast-casual setup where you order and pay first, then sit down. I loved that the entrées come with a huge side of sticky rice and salad--super satisfying and generous. They also have Hmong pepper sauce just out for you to grab, which is such a cool, unique touch and something I haven't seen elsewhere. My favorite dish was hands down the pork belly laab--perfectly crunchy without being too hard. Absolutely delicious when paired with the spicy and limey Hmong pepper dip. When we went, the place was empty. I really hope more people start showing up because this spot deserves the hype. One of the best restaurants I've been to in a while--easy recommend.

FOOD/DRINKS: - pork belly: great! It's cooked well and not too difficult to eat (I have sensitive teeth, so sometimes it's too hard for me to chew through at other places). I especially love that it comes with sticky rice and salad. It's a true meal! Most places will charge you extra for rice, so I really appreciate that that isn't the case here. - kapoon: would not get again. Hella oily and lacking coconut. Did not care for it at all..like I gave up eating it halfway through. They did give a good amount of noodles, but I just couldn't get past the broth. - nab vam: very sweet at first, but good after most of the ice melts. I think it would be better if they made the coconut milk less sweet though, because it's annoying to have to wait for the ice to melt. Aside from that, it's fairly average. - mango green tea with boba: also a little too sweet. I would appreciate the option to lower the sugar/sweetness level. I would still get it in the future though (mostly just because I love boba and can't help myself lol). SERVICE: friendly and quick. order at the counter and then seat yourself. Self-serve water, utensils, pepper sauce (I don't use it, but my bf does and really liked that he didn't have to make his own at home). They bring the food to you. Drinks were made quickly and food didn't take long. INTERIOR: I'm not sure if this building doesn't have a/c or what, but it was really hot when we came (in the winter). They turned on a fan eventually and that really helped, but yeah I hope they can figure something out because I feel like eating there during the summer would be miserably hot. If I were to knock off a star, it would be because of this.. Also, not many tables, I think maybe 10 at the most so might be better to take your food to-go. LOCATION: where Squeeze Inn used to be, on the end of the small strip of businesses. Didn't have any trouble finding close parking. Overall, I think the name is deceiving because I thought it would be Korean fusion lol. It's definitely not, but it is great food. Happy to have stumbled upon this place on Yelp and will definitely be back.

Steamed catfish with herbs. So delicious with the sticky rice!

I was very impressed for it being the first Hmong food restaurant in Sacramento! It's an order and sit down type of place but it's very clean and plenty of tables to sit down. We tried their boat noodle and steamed catfish and it was superb. The broth flavor was on point and the steamed catfish was very flavorful and paired very well with the sticky rice. We also had their tapioca dessert which had the perfect sweetness and very refreshing. Can't wait to go back and try thd rest of their food. Next menu item to try would definitely be their pork belly and kapoon!

Pork belly larb, steamed catfish, pork eggrolls, boba milk tea, 3 color dessert drink, sticky rice
    Sheng T.

All the food we ordered were not bad. Eggroll was decent, boba not bad at all actually, 3 color dessert drink a little bland and the pork belly larb was basically fried pork belly with larb powder, not bad but I would recommend the steamed catfish, that was the star dish.

    Delicious

Food was delicious. Had the kapoon and boat noodles. The service was quick and simple. Environment was calm and quiet at opening on a Sunday. Pleasant Hmong music in the background. Strawberry Lychee was refreshing. Obviously we ate our entire meal, overall happy customer.

Overrated. Not 4.5 like yelp says it is. It's pretty much a takeout spot with sit down. No service. Food was under-whelming. I don't even know why people line up for it... The the papaya was so bad and shrimp paste / tamarind heavy I stopped eating it after two bites. The ears were ok. No meat variety in the stir fry. Portion is too small for $18.99 price tag. I came here because my sister really wanted to try this place.

    Fried pork and rice
    Mariecel G.

The place was open, clean and quiet. The service was quick. Everything we ordered was delicious. I got the fried pork and rice and the colored drink. I was able to try my friend ka poon soup and it was also very good. I will definitely be coming again.

It took half an hour after putting in my order for it to be ready. I went with the Original Milk Bingsoo. They have four bingsoo options, plus a combo of two of their flavors (half strawberry, half mango) on the kiosk menu. They also have a variety of drink options and some pastry items in the case, although I realized I didn't pay any attention to what was in there; my focus was the bingsoo. The bingsoo was good, the only thing I didn't like was the mochi was pretty hard. Great serving size and easy to share with another; I definitely wouldn't be able to finish it myself. Bright, open interior. A few plants throughout. Could probably use a few more tables inside. There was a couple seats available after I ordered, but the tables were taken. The tables did clear out by the time my order was out though. They keep it pretty cool inside, I had goosebumps by the time I was done with my bingsoo. There is limited interaction with the staff, but the person who called my order waited for me to walk to the counter to grab my order after calling my name and number and greeted me with a smile. I would definitely return again! Great, sweet treat in the warming weather.

With prices seeming to go up everywhere these days, this spot felt like a great value. My drink came out almost immediately, which makes sense since it was pre-made, while the sundae took a couple of minutes to prepare. The Hojicha Latte was delicious with a rich, roasted flavor that was smooth and satisfying. The sundae was equally enjoyable. The soft serve was creamy, the boba was soft and perfectly chewy, and the seasonal mango flavor reminded me of mango pudding--sweet, fruity, and refreshing. The matcha paired nicely with the mango and added a nice balance. Overall, this is a great spot if you're in the area and looking for a reasonably priced drink or a refreshing sweet treat. I've gone here twice now and I am a fan!…read more They have cool street foods. The ones that I've tried and are my favorites are the fried flour with egg (bot chien) and the fried chicken cartilage with fish sauce. For the fried flour with egg, it was very crispy and flavorful. It came with some shredded green papaya, and I've actually never had this dish with papaya. It was so refreshing to have on the side. I also enjoyed the dipping sauce that accompanied this dish. We also got the durian crepe during my first visit here, and that was also delicious. I highly recommend the durian crepe if you are a durian fan. It was fragrant, had a good durian taste, and not too sweet. For our second visit, we just got the fried chicken cartilage. The batter is seasoned nicely. It reminds me of popcorn chicken batter, and it's not too salty. They lightly coat the fried chicken cartilage with a fish sauce glaze. At first, it smells a bit fishy, but not overpowering. The fish sauce smell was not too prominent when eating it...I am someone who is pretty sensitive to fish sauce, too, so the fact I can enjoy it is saying something! It's a bit on the sweet side. It almost reminded me of eating honey butter chicken (totally not the same, but I had that thought cross my mind). I love that the fried chicken cartilage is crunchy and chewy as expected. The shop is very clean and the staff are very friendly. They are very willing to explain the menu. One menu item that I wasn't sure about was the ram eggrolls. That dish is an eggroll that has pork and shrimp but no vegetables (they specifically said no carrots) and is rolled up in rice paper. When the rice paper is fried it is extra crunchy (I'm a big fan of crunchy textures!) They also explained to us that the snow chicken has a cheese flavoring on top. During our first visit, we also did get a milk tea with flan. I remembered the flan being perfectly made as if it was a standalone dessert, and not just a topping as an afterthought. It was a thick custard that held together, not gelatinous/jello like texture.

Tried the rice paper roll, never had this version before but it was pretty interesting. In all the food I tried I wish there was Chinsu hot sauce or something since it can benefit from being spicy. Fried rice cake was good , could be more salty maybe next time I should dump the whole sauce in and let it soak. And again hot sauce can kick it to the next level. Also got the rice paper salad, it's rare to find that in the area so was happy. Drink wise - the pandan milk is kinda disappointing. I love Sam Dua dam in VN and I get why they gave a lot of ice bc when it melt a bit it would be good - but I don't feel like the pandan itself is authentic to the Vietnam version. Corn milk with pandan jelly on the other hand is really good. Strong corn flavor, enough sweetness. This one is definitely a favorite. The menu is pretty cool and there's a lot of dessert I need to try next time. Service wise they're really sweet - the way the cashier talk make you feel like you're good friend or a relative. I get a very homey vibe which is really comforting
