They never told me when I signed up that the partial scholarship didn't fully cover 1 class. I found out 2 days after the semester started and when I told my counselor I had a debt she sounded surprised as I was. She said "who told you that".I started one class and 2 days after the deadline I tried to drop the class. After the scholarship they said I still owe 600 dollars. As a listener yall should listen to us when we complain about songs we don't like to hear vs playing them over n over n over again... Songs are good. But as the only local Christians radio...stop doing your "warnings" and "tests" so late. You're not going to disturb someone at work with "emergency tests" but that "state of alarm" sound disturbs little ones. I just figured out KLOVE is not transparent about anything. They profess to be loving, Christian, giving etc. I have donated to them several times over the years. The one and only time I asked for something last week they refused to help me. The kicked me to the curb like a dead animal. They made me feel like a thief for asking for a prayer. "We can't share the prayer for copyright reasons"....I needed a prayer for my spiritual health not to sell or use for any monetary gain. They also do not at all minister to older people who don't have antisocial media. When I first asked for the prayer they sent me an instacrap (you can figure it out) link. I don't have any antisocial media like Crapbook, instacrap, etc. KLOVE is not all inclusive or genuinely loving. It is all about money for them just like the rest of the corporate world. Their actions (dismiss and disregard the old lady - ME) speak louder than their fake words on air. They put themselves above all else and they aren't that great. They seriously need to read the Bible and see how Jesus treated people. They do not truly portray Jesus in their actions. They also had hubris and claimed that 10 dollars a month is "nothing," almost forcing people into donating -- coercing them. So, I did my research. The Educational Media Foundation, who operates K-LOVE Radio, reported a revenue of $238,353,904 for the fiscal year ending in December 2022. The total assets were valued at $1,046,247,591, with total liabilities of $100,991,312, leading to net assets amounting to $945,256,279. They have also been tax-exempt since Oct. 1983. They claim it is "listener" funded, but I do not know any listeners who can donate that much that quickly. Apparently, contributions make up 97.2% of the revenue. They have the money to pay Michael Mccall (Chief Engagement Officer) $417,820, but have the audacity to ask for donations? With all the difficulty going on in the world I can refocus and be grateful in the midst of it. This station has made all the difference in my life. It's what I play in my car and it keeps my road rage at bay. I don't have a Jesus sticker on my car because I might react in a way that is unChristian. I love the music. it's wonderful , however this morning the DJ story was kind of disturbing as a parent ,She talked about how she would always forget to send her son to school with his lunch and he is age 5, preschool , and then he would call on his cell phone ..... 5 year old with a cell phone ... scary .. and that he called and said he didn't have his lunch and she said her husband wanted to teach him a lesson and not bring it to him , when your child is 5 it's your job to pack his lunch and bring it with him to school, a 5 year old isn't able to be responsible yet , he isn't 10..... cell phone calls from school from a 5 year old should not be happening , sorry if this sounds judgmental , but this is awful parenting and on a Christian radio station . nobody needed to hear about this disfunction. it was sad to hear people like this are procreating. poor kid .. read more

The constant fundraising is out of control. Inane droning about "this is your final chance", and "there are only a few spots left to donate", even when they ask keep in going for 2 more weeks. Plus they say they are done, and going to play a song, instead they play intro music while going on and on, just teasing a song but never playing one for 10 more minutes.
