we've been with steven wolf over 20 years. we think he's the best agent in nj. he saved us a small…read morefortune and with better coverage. he's alwys there when he's needed. indeed, we had a serious loss just weeks after we started. our policy. the insurance company, not surpriseingly, discovered a minor error in our application they could lean-on to recind the policy. when steve found out he fought like a lion to protect us. we would have lost our insurance if the company had their way. they even threatened his brokers contact. but steve knew exactly what to do. we followed his advice and the company ultimately decided they really had no grounds to recind. the so-called was actually made at their claims center by one of their people. the best test of an agent is when you have a serious loss. steve may be a tad old fashioned but he's old fashioned in the best sense of those traits we most admire. he's honest, sincere and works tirelessly when he's needed most. and we've had many years to appreciate the mans character. in our opinion he's simply the best. duck and linda

Wolf does not use email or the internet. In order to complete any paperwork you must sit in his office for hours while he fills in forms, correcting mistakes with White Out. When it came time for us to change to a different insurance company, Wolf stopped doing his job. We almost had our car insurance policy cancelled (which would have tanked our credit score) because his office refused to complete the appropriate paperwork.

I was assigned to the Steven Mooney agency in Bristol Pa. My reps name at the agency was Seth. I purchased the policy in march and in the month of may, my policy was cancelled. I called the customer service office and spoke to a couple of agents who referred me back to the agency as they could not say why the policy was cancelled. I found out later, after I reported them to the state, that it was cancelled because of a lack of a signature. I was sent a letter from Farmers head office, where they said that they no longer required a signature for a policy. Seth also stated that because I did not carry a car and a home owners together, that he could not honor the policy and wanted to increase the premuim an extra $200 plus. as the discount should not be given. His company Farmers also called Mid Century, stated thru the state reps, who sent me that letter, that they WOULD HONOR the quote, (as I am sure they reviewed the policy) but Seth at the Mooney agency is stating otherwise. He is adamantly refusing to represent the company's wish to do right by their customers. would I say that I would recommend this agency to anyone?. Definately NOT... Buyer beware!

My fears were not unfounded; I was drastically underinsured. I had the state minimums only for auto, which included very little liability and medical coverage. If there had been an accident before I worked with Rebecca, I was at serious risk of ending up in bankruptcy! After less than an hour, Rebecca had not only helped me bring my coverage levels to a better place, she had gotten me several discounts which resulted in a much more competitive rate per coverage amount than I had at my last insurer. That short phone call took a load off of my shoulders! I can't recommend this agency highly enough. If you have even the slightest doubt that you are properly protected, or paying too much, give them a call!

I was on the phone with one agent who insisted I provide my social security number, despite being a long term customer. I suppose next time they will ask me to wire money to an African Prince. The next agent did not request my social security number. I was then sent to claims and then to glass claims where I waited 45 minutes. When I tried to submit the claim online, the site was so slow. It must have been designed and built by the Soviet Union in 1937. This level of incompetence is unbelievable.
