THIS SALON IS AMAZING! I love it here and I come here all the time! I asked for the French tips which I also got on my toes! And I wanted like a mani pedi! And ofc they did amazing like always! I got my toes the same like French tips! They always are sooo kind! And soooo good at what they do! They also have such nice chairs and like polish that doesn't chip! I loveee k nails! would for sure visit next time you get a chance! And they also like lotion your legs and put them in water, and give you a hot towel! I have so much to say about this place. I'm not upset with how it turned out but I am upset that they lied about what they could do for me because it was more convenient for them to work. I clearly showed a picture of a gel set with glitter and gradient from light purple to clear. When you walk in there is a display case of gel that clearly had what I was looking for. I was told he couldn't do the clear gel gradient so I went along. But then his work was messy and it didn't seem like he was using clean tools or wearing gloves. He does whatever he wants to my nails and finally I ask if he can put a glitter top coat on my clouded nails he said "no next time" and proceeds to put gel top coat as if putting glitter on was impossible. I also got my toes done and it's was fine but they flooded my cuticles and on both my hands and toes are lots of inconsistencies. read more

Just moved here from Cali and was torn between this place and VIP, as they both had mixed reviews. Went in and got pedicure and full set. Henry did an amazingjob!! I enjoyed just sitting, relaxing and not being talked at. Place could use a deep cleaning but my toes and nails look fantastic!! Went to K Nails with a couple of friends for mani pedis and some girl time. First impression: A little shabby. The technicians were difficult to communicate with as they appear not to speak much English. One woman did my pedicure while another did my manicure at the same time. I had to twist around in the chair and it was uncomfortable. They did not offer a remote for the massage feature in the chair. The manicure and pedicure look fine, but for the money I've had much better in other salons. My friends were very unhappy with theirs. We all got gel polish and one tech got gel on my friend's fingers and toes. He walked away to serve another customer and someone else had to come and correct his mistakes. The technicians appear to use the same tools on every client without cleaning them. I've never seen that before. I'm from Atlanta and I guess my standards are much higher. I wonder how often the health inspectors check these places in Elkin. read more

Terrible! Got right in, no wait, no problem there. Asked for gel manicure but changed mind to sns. Still wanted a manicure and asked twice. Never got it. I don't like reading reviews that say things that are wrong with a place but then the reviewer didn't say anything at the time. I did. Interestingly, they have signs posted that say if you don't or aren't getting what you want, say something, but when you do, they hurriedly brush you off and give you cool treatment. They aren't very nice and did a lot of talking amongst themselves all around me. Wasn't a very clean workstation. Lastly, got wrong color. Called the day before and ask for an appointment the next day, was given one and I arrived 15-20 minutes before my scheduled time, they were busy but I still got in 10 minutes before my scheduled time. Got my choices of gel polish with glitter top coat. I got a simple manicure, on my natural nails that cost $15.00. They had a full staff with about 6 employees and a very well behaved child. And they all had clients receiving pedicures or manicures. Very professional I will definitely go back. I was very happy with the service I received and my nails look great. read more

Don't ever go here for an eyebrow waxing! The lady absolutely butchered my eyebrows. One side actually has a bald spot and it's going to take weeks for it grow out enough for someone who actually knows what their doing to fix it. She was also extremely rough and jerked my head from side to side with way too much force. She rushed through and didn't even give me a mirror to check her work before sending me out the door so I didn't even notice the horrible job she did until I got back in my car. I had gone here once before and an older lady did them and she did fine but this younger women was rude and did a horrible job so I will absolutely not be going back for any service here ever! i have been to this place 3 times. My first visit the lady done my eyebrows with care. She shaped them beautifully. The last two times very little care was given. The lady seemed to rushed to care about doing a good job. I spoke and she didn't have decency to reply. Each customer should be given same level of care. This was the worst service. We upgraded to a higher priced pedicure because of the massage and different things they would do for us. The woman who worked on my daughter was awful. She was rude and barely did anything to my daughters feet and legs. My polish was not put on well at all. We told the owner when we were leaving and he argued with us telling us WE were wrong rather than apologizing for us not enjoying their service WE PAID FOR!!! read more

Got a regular manicure. It was late and the lady was rushed. Got home and realized that the polished was not to the sides of some of the nails and the cuticle clip was not good. Went back just now, the first day they were opened, and the mgr offered to put another coat of polish on the nails and then explained to me that cuticles grow everyday. Not as fast as they would have had to grow in order for them to be as bad as they are. I told him no thanks. New to town and I won't be going back to a place that cares so little about true customer service. read more

The lady who serviced my feet used the exact same utensils on me without cleaning them as she used on the customer in line before me. I was appalled and disgusted and will not be coming back. She was also rude in general and not friendly at all. Granted, she may have been having a bad day but that is no reason to treat a customer poorly. Very dissatisfied. I had an appt with Jon was there 10 mins before my appt time. But for some odd reason they stuck with some new girl. My nails look horrible. Acrylic missing in several spots and now they are separating from my natural nails. I've never had this happen before. Very bad for business. I had a pedicure and full set of nails. The pedi went well at first but he was so anxious to move me out of the pedicure chair that he put my shoes on with the polish still being wet. Smudged. Then,apparently there is a language barrier because I wanted white polish with one pink nail, so the manicurist started French tips and he became impatient when corrected. It's not a relaxing environment the way it should be. I noticed they weren't even that friendly with their regular customers. They're in too much of a rush to get the next butt in a chair. read more
