We…read morefound it through a wedding fair (pre-Covid) and what enticed us about this venue was the "all inclusive" aspect. Having been in several weddings before, the allure of being able to have everything in one place and the inclusion of services provided was attractive. The venue itself is beautiful. It was very nice to have our friends and family in one place with the flexibility of being able to stay the night. Sitting down by the river on the metal dock brought us a wonderful sense of peace amid the chaos of putting the production of a wedding together. Our problem mainly lies with the wedding package. I would recommend to anyone renting this venue to get your wedding necessities elsewhere. I promise you, it will be far cheaper to rent tables, chairs, linens, and dinnerware from a rental service in Kenai or Soldotna. We paid $2500 for the above listed items (with set up and clean up services) which were not received with additional fees being quoted for moving items from the ceremony to the reception (approximately 500 feet) the day of. When we brought our concerns to the general manager it took over two months to get a response. I felt that over the year and a half leading up to our wedding we had build up a good rapport with him so I was surprised that It took so long to hear back. When we did receive the answer it was dismissive and defensive with a comment of "our expectations were too high". This was incredibly disappointing. When you spend a decent sum of money on services in the expectation that they will be provided and some of the services are not, you expect some level of understanding. The view from the property is worth the price of the venue itself but we would highly recommend seeking outside resources and not relying on the venue for the additional wedding services. Especially if you are not looking to add stress on a day meant to be blissful.

Flowers that were delivered had roses that were bloomed out and the entire arrangement in substandard shape, not worth the 89.50 that I paid. I emailed to let owner know that I was disappointed, however no reply or acknowledgement. I have worked for small businesses most of my adult life and support them when it's possible, however I won't be a repeat customer with this florist.

Saturday came and my daughter, who sent them got a text of a 10 year old google map that showed no house yet built on our property. So, the florist said they couldn't deliver. She clarified that, yes, in fact, the address was correct and there was a house there now. So, after a few hours, a return text stating they will deliver on Sunday. She said, well at least I'll have them on mothers day. I recieved a phone message stating they were having trouble finding out house. Funny, fed ex and ups never had any problems. House numbers are up at the end of the drive. Then, at 1:30 in the afternoon on sunday, my husband happened to walk past our front door and there the flowers were. On my door step, getting all limp and wilted. No door bell ring, no knock, no nothing. Not sure when they were delivered, but the flowers are not in good condition, and only got 3 large roses and 3 tiny ones on one stem. It was supposed to be 7 large ones. We come to view the paintings and crafts of various artists. We have noticed that the asking prices…read morefor the paintings and crafts are higher, a sign of the times in 2025. The Center hosts art classes. It's a small informal art gallery that we enjoy visiting. We usually come when we have lunch at a nearby coffee and lunch place, or a well-known burger joint.
