It's conveniently located in the corner of the plaza next to Baskin Robbins. You can't miss it with its giant neon sign on the exterior windows. There's plenty of parking available. They have a wide variety of beers, seltzers, and soju to choose from. If you're looking for something sweeter to drink, they also offer different flavors of soju yogurt cocktails (honeydew, strawberry, original yogurt) which is my favorite to get. Their karakuchi curry is a must try! You can customize with your preferred spice level and add in sausages as well. I usually go for the blueberry mint hookah and a Soju cocktail in one of those light-up pouches. If I am not ready for a cocktail, I grab a lychee, strawberry, or peach Soju bottle--all solid choices. The food is consistently fire. The spicy gyoza is always on point, the K-Ramen never misses, and the Korean Fried Chicken Wings are legit. They also hand out seasoned chips while you chill, a nice touch that makes the place feel relaxed and casual even when busy. One thing I like is the rewards system through Cash App. You earn points every time you spend and can redeem them for something free. K-Ways calls the points "fucks" which just adds to their personality and vibe. It is a fun perk that makes coming back even more worth it. The music constantly switches up. Some nights are more chill, and others will have a DJ spinning complete sets. They have hosted theme nights like Disco Night with K-pop and EDM vibes or hip-hop blended with EDM. No matter the night, the energy is always there. Many people pull up in modified JDM cars, and the car culture is a big part of the vibe. The place is fully decorated with car-themed details, including anime and manga like Initial D and Japanese and Korean lettering. Purple neon lights and a darker lounge setting give it a moody and unique feel. It is a 21 and over lounge that stays open hella late, which works perfectly for night owls. Their hours are different from most places. They are open Monday from midnight to 3 AM. Closed Tuesday. Wednesday from 8 PM to midnight. Thursday and Friday from midnight to 3 AM and 8 PM to midnight. Saturday and Sunday from midnight to 6 AM and 8 PM to midnight. The only real downside is the seating. Booths get reserved fast, especially on DJ nights, and it can be hard to find a spot if you do not show up early. The wooden tables and bar are usually open, but sometimes they fill up too. After 9 PM, the music gets loud, which is excellent if you are on the dance floor, but not ideal if you are trying to talk. Still, the overall experience is worth it. The atmosphere is cozy and with automotive charm. The décor featured car parts, nobori flags, neon signs, and classic Japanese magazines. My friends got the beef Japanese curry which included potatoes, carrots and onions and I got their gyudon bowl which was one of the best beef bowls I have had in Chinatown! One of my favorite bars in town! Just walking in with the pink neon sign outside is iconic. Inside is car-themed with Japanese auto ads covering the walls. It's an intimate setting right now, so you get to meet different people. They do have plans on expanding the place so that's something to look forward to. The DJ when I went was great (shoutout DJ Crisis), and the drinks and hookah are reasonably priced. I recommend getting their "girl dinner" ;). The staff was nice and accommodating so no complaints there. Even the little snacks they recommended will make your mouth water (I forgot what flavor potato chips they were but they're chef's kiss). Most of the drinks are Asian centric, but there are other non-Asian brands like Modelo, Heineken, Corona, and etc. Service is pretty attentive with complimentary chips if you're staying in the lounge. Price for hookah is $35 flat rate with a cheaper refill rate (forgot the price ngl lol). Pretty spacious inside and seats 40 people max. Photos taken were by me and just of the other random people who showed up. Which makes another point, this place is very good for networking! Content creators, business owners, etc should all come here to meet others.
