The fam and I decided to have a fast and furious day at K1 Speed. The establishment is big and clean. They have a consession stand, an arcade room, and plenty of seating inside. Ample parking available outside. We arrived before noon on a Saturday. There were already groups racing and waiting to race, but the place wasn't packed. Check-in was smooth. We each had to sign a waiver, pay, then choose our head wraps. You pay per race: 1 Race - $22 2 Races - $35 3 Races - $48 We bought one race each for myself and my SO and 3 races for the little speeder. There was also another fee. I believe it was a yearly fee of some sort. You just pay for it once. We all wanted to race together, but adults and children are divided into separate races. An attendant alternates the races between children and adults. As first time drivers, we received a briefing on rules and safety. The gokarts are electric powered and easy to maneuver. A big screen right above the finish line displays your ranking throughout the entire race. Each session lasts about 10 minutes. After each race, you can pick up a Race Result Sheet at the counter. It shows your time, speed, and rank against other drivers. It also provides a graph picture. Pretty neat. We didn't try the food, but I saw the usual snacks: popcorn, nachos, soda, etc. Overall, we had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our little speeder had so much fun and loved getting to see his ranking go up with every race. Before we left, we took pictures at their race awards podium. Fun place for the family!

What a let down. Terrible experience, went two laps at full speed and the rest were all stopped multiple times and going maybe 3 mph. Could've just been a bad mix of bad drivers but wow. They should've offered everyone their money back. Dirty bathrooms. Every stall was a mess, and you can't make out or read any of the beers/beverages because they are so far away from the counter and up on the wall. The employees all seem lost and untrained. Definitely some things to change.

Visit date 2/23/2019- We really enjoyed! The race track was really big with much space. Inside the place was big as well. They have adult and kids racing on the same track but at different times. While one is racing start on getting the next group ready. You have to pay $5.00 that cover your annual membership fee and it also come with a mask. Don't go there hungry. Now the food could be better. It just did not look right so we just had chips and soda. Location and everything else was perfect. You can have a birthday party's there

This is a great place to have some fun. The staff is great and they take care of all the safety. They do have some games and food options as well.

Even the front door was fast.

Best Mother's Day gift ever! My amazing son surprised me with my first-ever visit to K1. He and his buddy had been a few times before and always had great things to say, so I was delighted to try it. We arrived, and found very few other drivers there. (Bonus: if you purchase during the week, it's cheaper.) This was GOOD for me, since I wanted to learn without getting bumped around a lot. The staff was extremely impressive, professional and helpful. In particular, Tyler was there. Now I'm not sure exactly of his official title or role, but I think it's got to be something like, "Master Leader in Charge of Making Sure Drivers Are Happy." At any rate, they got us checked in, educated us on the flags and cars, and let us loose. WOAH what a ride! Now they tell you not to drift, but dirty little secret: I drifted a little (read: a LOT), and it is the best! Shhh - don't tell anyone. That'll be our little secret. They'll never know. I really don't want the drift-police to come get me, so keep that just between us. At any rate, the cars were well maintained, clean, and powerful. With lots of torque. Not super sure what "torque" means but I've heard it before and thought I'd throw it in for good measure. Am sure these cars have it, whatever it is. What made it even more fun was that the different cars were not all exactly alike, so I had a better chance of not coming in last every time. Helmets seemed clean and non-stinky (bonus), and the staff on the track was watchful and very knowledgable with their flag-waving skills. (No, really, you guys were great.) Did you know if you go and race and buy a lot of races and don't have time to race them all that weeknight, they'll let you save your extra races on your account for the next time you go - even if you go back on a weeknight! BONUS! So they don't let you take pix while in the track area, so no fun to show there, but here's a pix of us outside the front door. Great fun at the front door. Lovely front door. Sorry, it's all I got. Hey, here's an idea - wear a gopro atop your helmet when you go. Tyler, can we do that? It would make me happy, and you're in charge of that, remember? OK, so go. Race. Enjoy. And tell Tyler I said hi.

You do have the option of having a birthday party here, but it's more so for kids and not teenagers. They have an area where you can have your party and still do all the activities available. They don't do reservations anymore just for go-karting; it's first come, first serve, which is fine, just know that the wait can be a while. Fortunately for us, we visited on a Sunday morning, and there were no crowds. Victory Lane has three indoor tracks: the Coke Zero track, the Sprite track, and the Super Track, which is the Coke Zero and Sprite track combined. The Super Track is only available on certain days, so check the schedule. On this day, my daughter and I did three races around the Sprite track; we had a great time racing each other. The tracks are challenging, and you get 8 minutes of racing time, so go as fast as possible or take your time, but you will get lapped quickly. The karts are in great shape, they run fast, and you will definitely drift if you would like to. Victory Lane also has an escape room, an arcade, and axe throwing, but we opted just for the Indoor Kart Center. We would definitely recommend it!

Even though it was after Christmas, it was still an awesome experience. I truly wish more people knew about because it is so worth the time the money. It's the largest Christmas expedition on the East Coast and we've had great memories both times. This is our second year going and we enjoyed our time this year more than the first. The first part is you driving in your car as you see all of the super cool light fixtures while listening to Christmas music that corresponds to the lights. The kids (and us), we're in love with the different themes that we saw along the way. Very vibrant and bold colors that really don't do it justice through a camera lens. It's something you truly do have to see in person to get the full picture. There's also a movie playing on the Jumbotron that you can listen to while you're riding around or you can park and watch the movie with your family. This year we did the VIP skip line for $96. I will say that it seems as if in the VIP there wasn't as many light fixtures while riding in the car as there was in previous years. I'm not sure if we seen less exhibits because our route was shorter. That would be our only complaint. You do pay by a car/ van so I would say if you could take as many people with you in one vehicle. Once you get to the halfway point there, there's an area where you can park and then you can get out. Here is part two where you go to all of the different vendors that are inside the heated area. There's so much to do. You can take pictures with Santa. You can get your character made until cartoon portrait . There's free events where kids can make Christmas ornaments win prizes color take pictures with the themed Christmas tree trees (that were so so cute by the way.) They had a bar for the adults and hot chocolate and popcorn for the kids. When you go outside of the tent, there's part 3, a world with outdoor activities. There is an area for Christmas carols tubing that had artificial snow. Theres bonfires with s'mores. Ann area with a bunch of food trucks to choose from. There's hundreds of photo opportunities where there are huge, beautiful light fixtures that you can walk and see along the track. It's literally something for the entire family to enjoy or even a date night if there's something that you would like to do. This is something that my family will continue to do in the years to come.

Typically we avoid holiday crowds (that's to keep the season merry, ya know?), & I'd heard from other friends that the crowds this year were excessive. However, I would recommend going to this on a weekday that isn't too busy or too close to Thanksgiving or Christmas. Was a unique and fun way to hang in the car celebrating yuletide while watching artistry of lights and music with friends. Was exciting for the men in the car to know we were driving on the actual speedway too. Glad our driver didn't take us up on to 'high bank' of the roads as he promised to do earlier. Know that you won't be able to hop out of your car to take pics or use the bathroom there, and there is no swag to purchase. (Would have loved that option as a unique gift for friends.) Note: If you go, you're supposed to turn your head lights off so they don't detract from the light show. Was a bummer when folks kept theirs on, because the headlights would sometimes be blinding! Also note: If you go during a wknd- which is more expensive- there is a place for kids to go (& I'm guessing you can THEN get out of your car). They also usually show a Christmas-themed movie on those nights...not sure how exactly that works, but sounded fun.

We quickly registered and got signed up for gokart tickets. Instead of being a place that you have to look for specials, they bring them right to you. We signed up for 2 race special but changed our mind after first race. Although fun, karts were a lot tougher to control and son had a pretty scary fender bender during first race. The manager on duty worked with us to give the value of second race back through a mix of mini golf, axe throwing and arcade coins. Didn't even complain or ask a lot of additional questions. She was just the tip of the iceburg with the customer service while there. All of the young crew was friendly and helpful especially Brody who was an absolute sweetheart during our racing experience. He helped with every question even preparing an unprepared me for the race. Helping to buckle up and smiling the entire time. Anyway, axe throwing was blah. Can get in 30 minute or 1 hour block but who really throws axes that long??? Seriously, who does? Asked if we could all just throw one during time to satisfy curiosity but the blocks are for one person only. Mini golf was quick and fun course with black light experience. Had fun there. Arcade had a good amount of choices. To be honest, the place has enough somethings for everyone to do and we had an overall good time. Would definitely recommend for an outing with family or events. My Family and I were passing through on our way back home following Thanksgiving and needed a place to burn a few hours while we waited for our hotel room. Bottom line up front, we had a good time and are bookmarking this for our next road trip. From the axe throwing to the laser tag to the bumper cars to the mini golf to the arcade - it was a good time. The wait was almost 2 hours for the cart course so we bypassed that option. The distractors were the unengaged employees that were simply going through the motions and seemed more interested in socializing among themselves. Then there were the 2-3 areas on the Mini-Golf coarse where the carpeting was coming up. But, distractions aside...it was a good time...
