It's not everyday you walk into a business and you find the owner to be as knowledgable and passionate as Zach. As a former professional athlete, I've been around a lot of strength/conditioning coaches, trainers and nutritionist. Spending an hour with Zach, I was convinced that he is top notch. I walked in an hour before they close on Sunday to try cryotherapy for the first time. Before getting started, Zach spent some time trying to understand my needs and what I was looking to accomplish. He showed me a number of stretches and exercises and then went out of his way to give me some nutritional tips. He then proceeded to explaining the Cryotherapy science, benefits, and instructions. Being a first timer, Cryotherapy can be quite overwhelming but he did a phenomenal job of coaching me through it. I left extremely pleased with the experience and look forward to trying it again. Zach has been handling Cryotherapy session with me for about 2 weeks. He is extremely intelligent in his field of work and provides an infinite amount of valuable information. He is kind, upbeat, and wants to be as helpful as possible. I began cryotherapy on my mom's recommendation to remedy my swollen knee. Being in the ice box is definitely a strange experience, but after a few sessions, the experience is welcomed. This was our second time doing cryotherapy, my husband and I love it and will definitely be back. We came in because my husband hurt his back at work and it helps reduce muscle inflammation and helps with muscles recovery. I hyper extended my knee and it had light swelling for close to two months with nagging pain. I always wanted to try Cryotherapy and randomly found this place when I was going to das brew in the same parking lot. I spoke with Zach, who is an awesome guy btw, and after my first session, literally right after, the minor swelling I had in my knee was completely gone and about 4 to 5 days later my knee was feeling 100%. I do a lot of climbing and soccer and decided to add this to my routine and since I started I have noticed my tendinitis flair ups have been drastically reduced and when they do flair up it doesn't last very long. This therapy is awesome and really quick. I spend more time chatting with Zach than actually doing the cryotherapy as it only takes 3 minutes of freezing your butt off. Thanks Zach! read more

Colder than a polar bears toenails.. Man, only having half an idea of what I was getting into Zachary decided to fill me in on the rest. He gave me the history, the tour of the facilities and everything's in between. After some standard waiver forms, there was a changing room and then off to the chamber. It was intense. First, I was fine. It started at a nice temperature, then he said it was going to get cooler. Told me to turn. Kept asking how I was and made sure I was paying attention. Told me to turn again. With him being attentive as he was, it kinda distracted my mind from the frigidness of the cold. Then, it came the final 70 seconds. 70s out of 3min is a little less than halfway. It seemed like forever. Turning every so often like a rotisserie only mildly entertained me. Started counting down in short 10s increments and turn again. Another 10s and turn again. I almost psyched myself out until I realized I was down to the last 10s. Then it stopped. I didn't faint, my body didn't go into shock. It's funny how it was cold coming in but, after having my body acclimate to an even cooler temperature, this weather feels like tshirt n shorts weather! I had never done Cryotherapy before and it was probably the best experience I could have had. Zach took the time to explain the entire process since I had never done it before and was extremely educated, helpful and supportive through the process. He even took the time to show my boyfriend and I exercises and stretches to help strengthen and relieve the painful areas. He went completely above and beyond and was so thorough. I have been coming to K2 and Zach for about 5 or so sessions at this point. Zach was very informative and telling me the health benefits of cryotherapy. The cryotherapy chambers in this location is made for one individual at a time, and your head always remains exposed over the physical chamber. It is not similar to a walk-in freezer, as some other facilities have. I have not tried those other facilities, so I cannot provide a comparison between the two. However, I can say that the K2 facility is exceptionally clean, Zach is always very happy to help out an answer any questions that I have, and that he's able to get me in and out as fast as I want or as slow as I want (he's always ready to chat). Zach also provides physical training and strength conditioning at this location. I find the health benefits of cryotherapy to be meritorious and definitely does help with inflammation, energy increase, aches and pains, muscle soreness, and just promoting a general sense of well-being. I'm not normally very into homeopathic or non-traditional treatments, but there's a reason that professional athletes use cryotherapy. It does work, and I would have to say that it's worked for me. I was visiting CA from Louisiana this week, and my PT recommended I try Cyrotherapy. I suffer from a misaligned hip and spine that keep me in constant pain in my hip, knees, and sciatic nerve. I have tried almost everything to avoid taking pain meds--multiple specialists and therapies, dry needling, tens, massage, mineral baths, you name it. But no lasting results. I had two sessions at K2--so worth it. Zach was really patient with me and thoroughly explained everything about the process. I've been training with Zach since Sep 2016 and it has been a wonderful experience. I get a very good workout each session where I am tired in a good way but not in pain with my other previous personal trainers. I am sleeping much better at night and also have more energy during the day. The workout include core balance and strength. In the past all of my trainer emphasis on weight training but not at K2. Workout routines are also different so that it's working on the different muscles. When you are there, you are the only client in the place and you are getting all the attention which is a plus. read more

This was a great experience. The new cryotherapy "chamber" is MUCH better than the first. Comfortable and efficient. It creates a more thorough chill that worked for me. 3 minutes at -300 left me chilled, and then invigorated and then completely refreshed.
