Got there before the buffet was available and each dish was fabulous. Awesome portions for the price. The aloo gobhi had plenty of kick. The naan was crispy. Their food is delicious. My favorite is the fish pakora, chicken tandoori and chicken tikka. I would rate them 5 but the 2/3 times I have been there they never refilled on the chicken tikka. There was only gravy but no chicken. Once my husband mentioned it and only then they cooked it but the last time we were there they did the same and there were 3 big groups so we kept waiting but they never refilled it. We noticed the other groups checking it but ended up just scraping the gravy only since there was no chicken. Food is delicious. I personally liked the buffet part since not lot of places do buffet for dinner but kinda sucks when they don't refill. read more

Went here last night with one of my friends. The food is really good. It's not fancy by any means. They had buffet style. Which we missed... the last time I was here. There wasn't a huge selection but it was still really good. The best part is... the food is not greasy at all. Some Indian restaurants are very heavy on oils that they cook with. Which can really mess with your stomach! The customer service is on point! It's definitely a smaller mom and pop style restaurant. Which is a good thing. The service is great! They are super friendly and happy to accommodate. We showed up... and they were already closing up. Yet, they let us stay and eat. We closed the place down. They didn't try to rush us at all. I can't lie, this is the most delicious food I have ever tasted in a while. I'm so serious- I ordered chicken biryani for the first time in my life and as a Vietnamese with a decent pallet, best thing I have ever tasted in my mouth in a long time. I say this because the chicken biryani is such a unique flavor so distinct from other things you tasted. The subtle sour taste of the chicken biryani plus with the basmati rice and the tenderness and juiciness of the chicken is just a perfect combo of many flavors and spices that I could not stop eating. The service is very straight forward with you just ordering and then serving you- very straight to the point not bothersome at all! The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is very chill and laidback, I would personally say that it's a casual Indian restaurant that does its sole purpose and delivers what it's mean to do and does it right. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kabob n Chutney, and I must say, it was a good experience. To start; The service was okay. The fried fish was fantastic and the rice and chicken curry were on par. First and foremost, the food at Kabab n Chutney is absolutely fantastic. It's clear that the chefs take great pride in crafting delicious dishes. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian or Pakistan cuisine or looking to try something new, you won't be disappointed. The flavors are rich, and each dish is bursting with taste. I particularly enjoyed the chicken curry. I really wanted to try the lamb curry, but I didn't see it. I had a difficult time choosing between the garlic and butter naan, but I ultimately went with the butter option, and it was heavenly. Freshly baked and served warm, it complemented the main courses beautifully. One of the unique aspects of this restaurant is the self-serve concept. You can walk in and grab a plate, then serve yourself as much as you'd like. This allows you to customize your meal to your heart's content, which is great for those who like to sample a bit of everything. The lunch buffet is $18.99 per person and if my memory serves me well, it's served from 11:30 - 3:30. We came in on a Saturday. However, I did notice some minor issues during my visit. All three plastic cups provided for ice for the soda (cans) were not as clean as I would have expected. It was a visual concern, and while it didn't affect the overall enjoyment of my meal, it's something that the restaurant should address to maintain its high standards. I must also mention a slightly off-putting incident that occurred during my visit to Kabob n Chutney. While enjoying our meal, I couldn't help but notice a customer who had placed his toddler on the food counter. The child was walking along the edge of the counter (wearing shoes) and this was not only unhygienic but also a bit concerning. In this instance, the customer was holding the child with one arm while trying to slide a plate with the other, which unfortunately created an uncomfortable moment for some who witnessed it. Despite that minor hiccup, I left Kabab n Chutney with a full and satisfied stomach. The combination of delicious food and the self-serve option makes it a great choice for a casual dining experience. I'm giving it a 4 star because my drink was warm and the restaurant needs to be cleaned. The fans are very dirty as the hanging lamps as well. Everything was made fresh. The staff was so accommodating at kabab and chutney, they worked with us for the order even though we were quite specific. And we stayed a little past the closing time, the food was definitely 10/10. The buffet food was cold, not many choices, I asked for Garlic Naan and even that was cold, it seemed that they probably got the cold Naan from buffet and threw garlic and seasoning and threw it in the microwave, never came out to change the food or add fresh food, same food that was probably there all day. I asked if for dinner they changed the buffet menu, they said no. When I got there the place was empty, now I know why. Maybe the food from the menu might be better at least it would have been fresh. This review is for Monday night, not Buffet, First time I have been here and I really loved the Chili chicken, and the Goat cooked with tomatoes green chilies and ginger and spices, and the Garlic Nan. - And I got some Butter chicken to go, - spicy for a friend. I really liked all the foods I ordered, it was interesting, that they were slightly different from other Indian restaurants I have eaten at, ordering the same exact dishes, and that is really part of the fun! the way the individual cooks interpret the dish, and make it their own, I really liked the freshness of the chicken and vegetables in the chicken, and I know they had just made it. (Really a big difference between this, and a Thai place my mom and I ate at a few days ago, where they overcooked the meat, even after we mentioned to the server my mom had dentures and NOT TO OVERCOOK THE FOOD, and that place place gave us tough chicken and shrimp. Maybe say nothing? The Goat dish was very flavorful, a tad more salt, than my for my taste (On a low sodium diet) and a few bones were left in with the marrow for that added flavor profile. But well balanced spice profile for that particular dish. I asked for Medium spicy level but spicy on the Butter chicken, and I got a taste of it, and it was bursting with FRESH spices. Totally will go here again, but was told the Buffet was more mild spicy level, and pepper can be had on the side. (Sad face). read more

The way their chicken tikki masala has me in a chokehold!!! For months now! I always pair it with garlic naan and a side of rice (I'm simple). I've visited once for the buffet, but I'll stick with my usual order in the future, the buffet was more food than I needed. The customer service is always good, they are friendly and funny. Just wow. My friends and I came in on a Sunday about 8pm. They were having a buffet for 14.99 a person. We decided to try it. The food was good, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the chicken tikka masala with rice and puri. They replaced and refilled the options constantly to keep their freshness. My friend who is a vegetarian only had 2 options to choose from. He did not eat much and was still hungry afterwards. The host came by to check in on us and noticed my friend who had finished since there were not many options for him. The host immediately apologized and offered to make a entirely different vegetarian dish specifically for him. It was already getting late, and we didn't want to trouble them so we declined, but he offered us free chai for all of us to enjoy. And before we left, he came over again, apologized and said next time you guys come in, tell me and we will make something special just for you. You don't see this high quality of service anywhere nowadays. They have earned a repeat customer from me. If you're craving decent buffet Indian food, give this place a try. read more
