The chicken was better than the beef in my opinion. My mom ordered the chicken over rice, and I actually liked it a lot better than what I ordered. The menu is somewhat confusing because all the dish names sound very similar and you have to really read hard to figure out the differences between different dishes. I hate to break the 5 star review streak but this is actually the first review from someone who isn't related to the owner, a friend of the owner or the actual owner. The 24 fake reviews worked. It sucked us in hoping for some amazing Mediterranean food in the middle of nowhere. It was quite possibly the worst meal we've ever had. When we walked into an empty restaurant at 6:00 pm that should have been our first sign to turn around. Let's start with the most basic thing - tea. She ordered unsweet tea and order sweet tea. Hers tasted like water and mine tasted like sugar water. It was brown like tea. But that was the only resemblance to tea. We went with hummus for the appetizer. It was the highlight of our meal and I would give it a 3 on a 1-5 scale. Nothing great about. Grocery store brand is just as good. For our entree she had the Lamb over rice. It looked and tasted like lamb jerky. Rice was bland. Their "white sauce", as described by the waitress, is their version on Tzatziki sauce. Yet there was no yogurt, no cucumber and no garlic. It just tasted like Mayo. I had the Adana platter with half chicken and half lamb kabobs. They should have been called sponge kabobs. They closely resembled the frozen meatballs from the freezer section at the supermarket. Yuck! Finally we had the baklava for dessert. Just like the hummus it was a 3 out of 5. Ok but nothing special. The owner did check on us and told us that everything was made from scratch. Either he was lying through his teeth or everything was made a week ago and put in the freezer uncovered. The entire meal lacked flavor of any kind. Which is pretty hard to do with Mediterranean food. I feel like we were lied to and tricked into trying this restaurant with the obviously fake reviews. Half of the reviewers only have this one review in their history. LOL!!! The reviews are lies and the homemade claim is a lie. You've been warned. read more

We got the butter chicken special and the curry chicken special. Both were excellent with the butter chicken winning the day. Hummus appetizer was delicious, too. I came here with my family for lunch and will never be returning. The young server was very nice and took our order. The wings special that we ordered came out and looked awful. It was a plate of white puffy wings in a brown gelatin looking sauce. I tried one and it was soggy and inedible. The flavor honestly made each of my family spit it out immediately. When we asked the server to refund this item, she looked a little nervous and came back with who I will assume is the manager or head server, an older woman with a scowl. This woman was not apologetic at all and just told us they are made fresh and they don't have skin. She was obviously annoyed with our request but we literally did not eat a single wing of the 15 ordered. I think the nice, younger server was nervous bc of this older woman and hope she finds a new job soon where she's not around such negativity bc she was the only pleasant part of the meal. The other dishes my family ordered (vegan salad which was a plate of lettuce, green olives and onions and the kids chicken bites which were as you would expect) were nothing to write home about either. It sounds like all of the traditional items are amazing judging from other reviews so probably best to stick to those when dining here. Additional Comments Following Owner Response: We absolutely each (party of 3) tried the wings but only had one bite each because they were THAT inedible. I actually spit my bite back into my napkin. Why would we order a dish which was to be one of our entrees and not even try it? That does not even make any sense. I have honestly never in my life asked a restaurant to take an item off of our bill until last week at your restaurant. Also, we absolutely had enough money to cover our bill and money is not an issue for us, we just did not think we should be paying for a plate of food that was inedible. I think I even paid with my Platinum AmEx which are not given to broke people (not that I need to prove myself to you but that was quite a rude comment). We also tipped our server more than 20% on the original amount of the check because we felt badly for her working with such a miserable coworker/manager. I tried to speak with your manager and she was incredibly rude and defensive despite me approaching the situation in a very respectful way nicely asking if we could have a refund since you could see that we did not eat any of it. We were lucky enough to stop here passing through town. Great owners and staff that greet you as soon as you walk in the door. Simple place and a simple menu done incredibly well. We knew we were in for a treat as soon as we tasted the homemade hummus and pita - delicious.
