The men's room the times I have been there is filthy. Also be careful of the homeless people who tend to hang out outside the front of the building. They will hit you up for money. And some can be pretty aggressive if you tell them no.

The men's restroom had no toilet paper, found out by a disgruntled blonde male in a red t-shirt, that he had put the paper in the restroom, but not in the holders. He unpleasantly stated & showed my husband where it was. The fellow was tall & the paper was put up in a high spot, where most would not necessarily look for it, and might not be able to reach. Spoke with another person, maintenance, about the individual & they apologized & stated the manager would hear of it. The store is clean. Nice deli, although lots of fried foods. They have a daily lunch & breakfast specials. Very pleasant staff for the most part. Greet you with a smile and bid you farewell when they can. The place stays busy. Lots of turnover with truck drivers & 4-wheelers. Lots of variety in items to go, besides the deli. 20 parking spots for commercial vehicles. The lot stays full, there were only two slots available, when we pulled in.

They also had a bunch of snacks and a few chain restaurants inside. We had a snack from Cinnabon. They were fairly fresh, fast, and friendly. The checkout process was efficient. Staff was not overly friendly, but that to be expected. They were however attentive and polite. Is a good place to stop if you are in the area.

After feeling like the employee put me on the spot for getting only a dollar in gas making me say in front of everybody "no, I didn't say $5 I said a dollar on the green car...." because like usual I didn't notice the pump number. I still cannot understand why she wanted to continue to holler at me about my $1 gas purchase as I was walking out the door to my car. Feeling humiliated because I had to dig up a dollars worth of change to get gas, and being made to say so in front of about 20 people standing in line, I ran back to my office to grab my wallet. I was only afraid I wouldn't make it back to the office which is why I stopped to get a dollar in gas in the first place. So imagine my surprise when I, perhaps somewhat rudely and spitefully, stated to the same employee very clearly so she heard me that I wanted $10 on pump 4. It was my second trip to the same gas station in 5 minutes and all I really needed to do was get home. But I was refused service and told to take my $10 back because I was rude. But I had to go to work so I asked politely if my boyfriend could come back and pick it up he told me no and that he would make it for a later day because he was to busy and then told me he sold my pizza a couple mins before I got there! They refunded my money but doesn't change the fact they can't get a simple order right and they sold the pizza I ordered and then lied to me to try and get out of it! Worst place for customer service and lazy staff this isn't the first problem I have had! I found a cubby hole along with 2 other semis and another commercial vehichle at around 9 pm. Went to store, took a shower and came back to truck for rest. At 11:15 PM i hear a banging on my window. It was a mechanic from the shop and a clerk from the store making everyone in that area leave. Saying it was unsafe although multiple trucks were in and out simultaneously with no problem. So, not sure who these people were but they have no clue of life on the road carrying American good and lack of space. This will deter me from Loves and make me head to Pilot/flying Js and TA from now on. Been a loves fan for years but to shew people away from your business when they are trying to rest for the next day and not hurting anyone or anything is rediculous. LOVES NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING HERE. There are Kum & Go stations located on both corners of the entrance into the…read more Lowes lot. This one is on the Southwest corner. Plenty of pumps were available with only one being down. A generous parking lot made it easy to navigate and the price of gas was average. Inside it's a smaller convenience store and there were a lot of boxes in the way as if they decided to restock the entire store at once and got sidetracked, as there was nobody tending them. I'd stop for gas here again if needed but it's a bit tricky exiting back onto the expressway so be careful.

She also yelled at me because she had to bag & load the ice that is outside and said I'd better hurry up if I was going to use the bathroom because she had a lot more ice to bag and haul outside.
