Cute shop with a variety of clothing and decor to remember your trip. I wish I grabbed the Whiskey Weather sweater.

I'm from out of town and have been trying to do business with this store over the past two years…read morewhen I been coming to deal with family issues. I've had mixed to declining results and, with this last visit, I am done! The customer service has always been weak and now I'm at the breaking point. Because I have limited time each visit, I try to email a list of what I'm looking for in advance. Management either doesn't check their email or simply don't care. Last week, I called twice and unfortunately got the same person who thoroughly discouraged emailing in favor of coming in because "it would be easier" and "they don't have time to look." Easier for whom? Certainly not the returning costomer. Since they're close to the airport and I had time, I stopped in anyway on Fri. I spoke with who I believe to be the owner and he also wasn't too interested in making time to check books that he said he had in the back that were recently purchased. They were apparently getting ready for a sale the next day and possibly making a sale in the moment was clearly not that important. They made a copy of my list, took my name and number and said they would check. I made it clear that I was leaving Mon, today. As of 1:00, no call. So I called the store. The clerk who answered has no idea I'm talking about and was very dismissive, and the owner isn't there until tomorrow. They don't talk their employees anymore than their customers. So, that's it. I've had it with them and won't be going back even if they had the hardest to find book on my list. One of the worst shops I've ever been to for customer service. Shame on me for having given them multiple chances to do right.

I'll give this place a three out of five stars and the only reason why I'm giving it three is…read morebecause they had all of the comic books that I wanted in the number one varients . But other than that, the Customer Service sucked I was looked at with suspicion. The energy was off. It's just not a place that I will go visit all the time not like the other comic book stores around here.

First, in case there is any confusion, this is absolutely, positively NOT a comic book store…read moreanymore. They don't carry comics at all, not even as a sideline. Yelp has them listed under the Comic Book category, because they used to be a Comic Book store, but they kept the Moonlite name while totally changing their line of business. The place is almost entirely a collectible card game store now, with a minor sidelines into used video games, board games, and tabletop RPG's. They do also have some tabletop miniatures (marked down to the point I suspect they are on clearance), but no collectible miniatures like HeroClix. I'd gone in there to special-order a comic book. I'd gotten out of the comic fandom, but there was a special one coming out I wanted so I figured I'd order it from a local store. I came back to Moonlite, but I quickly learned was Moonlite in name only. It's a pity, Moonlite Comics was the main comic store I used to go to when I was more into comic books. It used to be a card game, roleplaying game, and comic book store. They are now just a card game store, no comic books, and really cut down on the RPG's they cover until it was just a token couple of shelves of books in the back of the store covering a few of the most popular books for the most popular games. I'm a comic book and RPG fan, so honestly it didn't hold much appeal to me. The sign out in the parking lot still says "Moonlite Comics", the sign on the building itself says "Moonlite Game Center", I guess that was meant as a subtle "No, we don't sell comics anymore" warning, but it was a little too subtle for me to catch up front. Also, the customer service there was somewhere between bad and nonexistent. I went in there recently to look around, my first time back at Moonlite in about 7 years, and I walked around an empty store for 15 minutes before the two guys behind the counter even acknowledged me (and that took me walking straight up to the counter, as I was looking around). It was just myself, one guy sitting at one of the tables on a handheld game, and two guys behind the counter in the store chatting, and I didn't get so much as a hello until I'd been browsing the store for 15 minutes. The folks behind the counter were more interested in their conversation about movies and cards than greeting or serving customers. Roughly 80% of the floor space of the store is devoted to big tables for card game tournaments, it's pretty clear the place is pretty much a Magic card dealership and tournament place. It's kinda sad, I used to really like Moonlite "back in the day" and was hoping to be able to "come home again" to an old hangout, but I guess there's nothing there for me anymore.

Not open when they are scheduled to be, employees are rude, lack knowledge about products,…read moreinventory is sparse, and environment feels judgemental and exclusive rather than warm and welcoming like many other Magic: The Gathering stores. Also, didn't this used to be a comic book shop? All they sell now is MTG, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and older video games. Honestly, Walmart has a comparable selection, which is sad.
