Decent Japanese restaurant near the popular Seville areas, decent food decent service decent review. We ordered the lamen noodles with beef and an assortment of 6 sushi pieces chosen by the chef. The food filled us up which was good but there was nothing spectacular and we ended up using a lot of their Lao Gan Ma spicy sauce with our food. The waitresses were not nice but not not nice either. Spent a total of 26 euros and about 30 minutes here. read more

Beware of purse snatching/Theft at this restaurant. My husband and I were in Seville and we stupidly ate at this empty restaurant on January 24,2024 at 830pm. The fact that there was no one in there should have been the first hint. We were tired of eating French and Spanish food so we thought to change it up a bit and have Japanese. Because it was empty, the waiter told us to "sit anywhere". We chose a small two person table against the wall. My momentary lapse of common sense, I mistakenly removed my crossbody bag and hung it up on back of my chair. Since there was no one in the restaurant but the two of us I would have never thought that the wait STAFF would be the THIEF. My husband gave me his baseball cap to put around the strap of my bag. The warning or second hint was when the waiter brought water to the table, instead of walking up and putting it in the middle of the table he reached around me behind my back to put the water on the table. In hindsight, this was the time of the THEFT. Thank goodness I removed my phone from purse otherwise I would not have received the texts messages that my credit and bank cards had been charged nearly $5000 USD during dinner nor had the phone numbers to be able to call my credit card/bank card. Upon receiving these texts I realized my purse had been stolen. I did have an AirTag in my purse that showed it was still in the restaurant. There was noone there that could have stolen it and ran off such that the AirTag would show movement outside or away from the restaurant. I notified the manager who insisted it must have the food delivery people who had been in the restaurant. Not possible! 1) they were never near me and 2) the AirTag never left the restaurant. We asked to call the police but the manager said that they would not come and we had to go file a report at the police station. During this time, my husband was walking up and down the restaurant which the AirTag showed it was in the present location and then mysteriously the AirTag was disabled. I admit I made a huge stupid mistake by removing my purse off of my body and trusting what appeared to be a decent Japanese restaurant with white linen table cloths and chopsticks with porcelain holders. Please BE AWARE and AVOID this restaurant. I don't want my mistake to happen to another person! read more

We are having a guided tour from Portugal to Spain. The first stop in Spain was Seville. We were looking for something soupy, and Japanese food, so picked Kaede. Their Laman (Chinese style) attracted our eye. Don't be confused it with Ramen. On the first night, Four of six of us ordered the pork Lamen. It is so good we came back next day and ordered five Lamen. That speak itself how good it is. It is quite on the opposite side of other reviews. Just be clear it is not Ramen. Fresh seafood, great service, good prices. Clean restaurant with extensive menu and attention to even small details like the "miso" soybean paste soup. It had a unique presentation and delicious taste and then the meal continued on in that theme. Everything tasted fresh and wonderful. If I lived here, I would be a regular. Very rude owner and disrespectful customer service. We had a party of 8 but they to try squeezed us into 3 tables and didn't want us to take an extra table (that extra table was still empty when we left). We came for ramen (as there was a giant poster outside with ramen options). After a long wait before they finally took out order but told us they don't have any ramen/udon. We told them we'd just pay for our water and leave then. The owner then insisted that we stay and they will make us our ramen but she also put in some sushi orders that we didn't ask for. When the ramen/udon finally came, they were all served in different bowls. The eggs were cold. The noodles were uncooked, the soup was not tasty, had one tofu and small chopped pork (looks nothing like the poster). Not a single server or staff smiled and rushed us the whole time. Plates were taken away without asking if we were done eating. Servers' hands were going in and out of our faces while we re eating. We got things we didn't order and ended up paying for. Got soy sauce spilled on and no apology. They just gave us a wet towel to clean up the mess. They clearly don't want us there. Save your 213€ for better foods and service somewhere else. Great find in Sevilla Very clean situated in Barrio Santa Cruz The place is pretty small but the staff is friendly and attentive We ordered the 15€ menu for lunch and it was really great! With this menu you get small fried rice, seaweed and cucumber salad, spring rolls and a choice of a main dish. This menu also includes a drink, coffee and ice cream for dessert. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that my fish I was cut into small pieces other than that everything was great. read more

Despite the poor reviews this restaurant had when we looked, we chose to eat here anyways (which turned out to be a huge mistake). Take heed of all the negative reviews and try not to eat here unless you want to be taken for a ride. We ordered a menu de la casa with salmon, one lamen noodle with shrimp, and one lamen noodle with pork. They advertise this dish as "ramen" which is a traditional Japanese noodle soup, the the female manager/owner informed us in Chinese that it was actually a Chinese style noodle soup. The noodle with shrimp had just two shrimp which were not eaten because they tasted as though they could give us food poisoning, and the pork noodle soup we ordered somehow became a beef noodle soup. Also of note, when we pointed this out, it was not offered to be replaced. Furthermore, the menu de casa offers one drink or dessert included. Without asking, the waiter brought out an ice cream. We asked for the mochi dessert which in hindsight was likely more expensive, and the waiter and the owner/manager claimed that we could only choose the ice cream. This clearly was not stated on the menu at all. When we asked to see the dinner menu to confirm our suspicions, they gave us the drink menu instead... At this point, the owner/manager was very angry. She spoke in Chinese to us so her waitstaff wouldn't understand and blamed them for being new and not knowing how the menu worked. She even ironically called the Spanish waiters "foreigners". The older waiter was definitely not a new hire. At the end of the day, we had one lamen waived, but they slyly slipped a 5€ charge on the receipt for the mochi. This type of behavior trying to take advantage of mild mannered tourists is unforgivable and probably illegal to be honest. We were very unhappy with this restaurant; our dinner was ruined. The food was mediocre at best and the service was atrocious, considering they tried to swindle us out of a few bucks over and over. Save yourself the headache... read more

My daughter and I were so excited to go in because of the large signs showing delicious ramen. When we got inside, the service was good and the place was nice, but the ramen was literally soy sauce soup and spaghetti noodles with salty chicken. It was incredibly disappointing and looked nothing like the photo.Even before we ordered, we asked the next table over of their ramen was good, and they warned us it was salty and not very good. We ended up paying way too much for a dinner that was unsatisfying and nothing like they were advertising. Will not recommend this place for ramen at all. read more

What a great find in Sevilla. The restaurant looks very expensive from the outside with it's white table cloths and waitresses dressed in kimonos. On the contrary. 15€ will buy you a dinner including miso soup, cucumber wakame salad, spring rolls, veggie fried rice, a beverage and entree of your choice plus dessert. Not only is this dirt cheap but the food comes out fast, fresh and is top notch. Love, love, love this place. Nice change from the bread and olives they like to call tapas in Spain. read more

A group of us (8 total) walked in and we were greeted as if it would be a hassle to serve us. Once the waitress told us that there were no soup for the ramen we wanted, we were about to pay for our waters and leave. She insisted that we stay and would have the kitchen make some soup. She also asked if we wanted sushi and just added them on right away without letting us contemplate it. The rice for the sushi were too sticky, as if they put too much water when they were making it and decided not to waste the rice. When the ramen finally arrived, the broth was tasteless from having been rushed, the noodles stuck to teeth, and the hard boiled egg was cold in the middle. None of us finished our meal. When we asked for a check, there was a surcharge that we were not notified about. The waitresses spoke fluent English so it was not an issue of communication. While the plates were being taken away, one of the busboys spilled soy sauce all over a friend of mine. There was no apology or attempt to soothe the mistake. read more

The fish was discolored, obviously previously frozen, and we saw the waitress spray the platter with water to make it look better.
