They have a nice filtered coffee menu - all light roast to bring out the flavours of the beans. Aeropress is their device of choice. Tried a Kenyan peaberry - they have custom ceramics that your coffee is served in. As it's a hardcore coffee place - no sugar or milk or cream. The coffee has to do all the talking. They do have espresso based drinks as well but did not try. Seating space is quite small considering the popularity of this place. Glad it wasn't busy on a mid afternoon on a wintry Friday. Bought some beans to go - in 250 mg bags. They have 1 kg bags at discount - the beans are not quite up to the same quality. Definitely a destination if you are a coffee snob!

There are different varieties of coffee to try as a simple pour (or a tasting of two), as well as a few espresso drinks (cappuccino, latte, etc) and a few cold options. I had the Colombian origin pour when I visited, nice and simple. It tasted great, and they clearly put a lot of effort into the process and the pour to ensure the beans could do the speaking; no milk or sugar for this cup! I enjoyed my cup, glad I visited such an esteemed coffee haven. The line is a bit unruly, and the small space gets cramped quickly, but if you have the time and want to try an elevated cup for the same price as a factory mill coffee, come check them out!

Though by the time I had received my food the place had filled up again with a line out the door. Liebling is a bit trendy, and has a cool shop attached with some retro items for sale. Which make for great gifts on the fly. Some of the tables in the shop are from old sewing machines, the seats could be from on old school. I ordered a Chai Tea Latte,` the chai was a bit spicy and lacking the sweetness that one expects when ordering this drink. It was also lacking a bit of love in the foam department. Overall, Chai Tea Latte was a swing and a miss in my book. The aftertaste the spices left burning my mouth and missing the sweetness was pretty distasteful. Onto the food, I ordered slice of bread served with hummus, lettuce and cucumbers which was very nicely put together. The hummus was amazing and left me longing for another bite, long after it was gone. I also ordered a slice of bread with avocado spread which was topped with lettuce and cherry tomatoes. This was spread was lack luster but I must say the bread, lettuce and tomato were quite fresh.
