On a day that I'm essentially sleep walking or loaded down with luggage and not up to exploring, this German chain is my coffee comfort zone. There are three locations in Mannheim, but the lounge at the Hauptbahnhoff was a welcome site. The decor is modern, subdued and swank. In my mind it is the German version of Starbucks. They always have good space for groups so you can have a meeting or otherwise spread out and work or visit with friends and colleagues. The menu is a whole host of coffee drinks, but I'm a fan of their hot chocolate. Lots of seasonal options and special drinks.
