Horrible experience with Kaiko Chan. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. We were pursuing a condo, submitted an offer and received the verbal acceptance as we followed through with our own due diligence. OUR DEAL FELL DUE BECAUSE KAIKO WAS IRRESPONSIVE AND LACKED EXPERTISE. We chose Kaiko as our attorney thinking they would provide us proper attorney services and we would be able to get the contract process started. Little did we know, they delayed the contract signing by mentioning that there may be some issues with the condo which will likely be addressed if they did their due diligence by reviewing board minutes. We went out of our way to chase documents when it was their job to do so, we had to call back and forth with Kaiko to get a simple response that addressed our questions. We would call Kaiko's office and then ask if they reached out to condo management, THEN they would email management during our call to ask because they did not email at all! At the end of the day, if youre looking to use them as attorneys, I WOULD NOT recommend them because your deal may fall through due to negligence. read more

Mr. Chan has repeatedly over the course of 2 weeks not been reachable on phone or in response to emails. Delays or no communications via phone or emails from brokers to myself led to my complaint that i need to have a smooth and fast closing. any delay will cost me money. In response, he said: you are free to hire another attorney, no harm, no foul. Surely, a great company's response to a first complaint would be try to fix it and not to terminate services. Mr. Chan then abruptly hung up on me. My experience with him was so poor, incredulous and unexpected from his other 5 star reviews that it cast doubt on the authenticity of these other reviews.
