Staff was awesome! Pizza was fantastic! Clients were very welcoming! Beer was cold and delicious! Music was inspiring! Truly worth the stop on my way through town.

Wild Spicy Elk - Elk sausage, red onion, mozzarella, mushroom and drizzle of truffle oil.

An amazing hole in the wall between Santa Fe and Albuquerque. The pizzas (Elk and Duck sausage based) were incredibly delicious accompanied by thirst quenching ales and cider. And the live blues music from Joe Daddy and Hoodoo Jeff kept the crowd tapping, dancing and smiling.

It was perfect. Dinner was everything from a salad, to the duck, to the short ribs. Service: Great but could be better. Honestly, they were very busy and everyone was pitching in. She also seemed very distracted and did not have good recall when we were putting in our orders. She came back several times to ask what our drink orders were before finally bringing over the tablet to enter in the information right in front of us. Secondly, our food took forever to come. This also happened the first time we came to eat at social house a year ago, but it felt more pronounced this time. And the restaurant was not full. Probably a third full of patrons? We were seated at 6:45 and our food did not arrive until 830. Quite the wait if you ask me. Finally, the kitchen was having some sort of smoke issue. If you've never been in an establishment where the grease smell and smoke is visibly accumulating in the air, you know it's quite distracting from a dining experience. It was so smoky inside. I actually caught myself blinking my eyes to see if it was just my vision being blurry or if it was the room. Our food was fine, the pork belly was a standout. Otherwise, I'm not sure I need to come here again. I wish that they would get a better handle on service timing, because that seems to be an ongoing issue.

The restaurant is tucked away a bit from the road so it may be a little hard to see on your first visit. My dining companion and I arrived at 11:30 so we were a little ahead of the noon time rush. Friendly staff greeted us and seated us. Very interesting decor. If you lean toward the artistic side, you will see touches that will remind you of the infamous meow wolf. It's a focused menu. I went for the classic burger. They call their fries Spudnik and they have a very interesting cut. The potato shape is like a broad, curling wedge, but these are not curly fries. I asked for the smashed burger and it came out with a nice crispy touch. I enjoyed the blue cheese dressing. The brioche bun is very tasty. I would rate this Burger as tops.

We ended up not waiting the entire 45 minutes and were seated at a table for 4, comfortably. We didn't mind squishing in as they did let us know before hand it was for a 4 top. Our server was so lovely and super attentive! She told us the specials, and let us know about the ordering process (everything ordered at once, coursed for us). We started with the focaccia, which comes with olive tapenade & goat cheese. I would die for the olive tapenade recipe! It was SO good. I couldn't stop eating it. Our table also got the octopus, which I did not try, but it had rave reviews from everyone else. We ordered their burger, sea bass special, bolognese, and cocktails in addition to our apps! For dessert, we opted for the blueberry lemon tart, and creme brûlée. So good! I was so full by the time we got to desserts but had to have a few extra bites. I ordered the basil gimlet, which I haven't stopped thinking about. It so tasty, and refreshing! The perfect spring drink that I'm now determined to recreate at home! Everything was delicious! You can tell & taste that everything is made from scratch and fresh! Thanks to the chef & staff! WOULD recommend!!

The sunrise burger is still one of hubby's favorites in the city, and the fries are incredible. I tried the High Point Mac & cheese (green chile mac w/steak sliced on top) and yowza. So much flavor, and the steak was perfectly tender. The restaurant has food nailed. And our server was amazing. Unfortunately, th manager did a poor job estimating how busy they'd be on a Friday night, so the two servers were running ragged. The manager pitched in, but they were playing catch up with the silverware and we had to wait for it when the food arrived. Which, no biggie, but it was a fork when I had steak and my husband had a messy burger. So we right away asked for knives. I pointed out my steak, and the manager got snarky with us like she got it. But then she brought us butter knives. When I got up and went to the bar to ask for a steak knife, her attitude was even faker. I don't abide fake when someone's eyes and mouth clearly say they think you're stupid or annoying or both. This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu the next time we're in town.
