This review is solely based on an informal consultation. We met with Kali 7 months ago. She was very professional and showed us sample of her work as well as her pricing. Kali appears very patient yet talented (as you can see from her portfolio). She also comes off as very flexible - we particularly liked one of the photos (which has a vintage treatment). She explained to us that although she had not done an entire wedding in that style, she could and it's also her preferred style. In addition, when we share with her our ceremony location, she told us she had taken photos there (which is not a must have but a definite plus). She says she will send them to us for review. All in all, Kali seems very easy going and flexible. After speaking to a few photographers, we realize that it's not just about picking talents but also personality that somehow can work with ours since you must feel comfortable working with them on arguably the most important day of your life! This is long overdue! Very talented, very easygoing and extremely professional and prompt. She was willing to take all my suggestions, experiment, and she was extremely easy to work with. Made me feel very comfortable and she was also efficient during the shoot. She spent extra time with me and was great before, during and after the shoot. She did a great job editing the photos and again, was very flexible and tried different effects and edits to achieve the look I wanted. The album turned out very nicely and I highly recommend Kali. One thing I think she could do for clients who want it: give more art direction. I had a lot of ideas and pictures I was looking at to get pose ideas and I would've been open to more suggestions and more of Kali telling me what she thought looked good too. Kali was our photographer for our wedding and I couldn't have been more pleased with her work! I'm a little camera shy and she was just so easy going and relaxed it made me feel relaxed and our pics were the better for it. Our engagement session was just a taste of her amazing skills. Kali is very nice and was very flexible in meeting us somewhere convenient for the consultation. She takes some beautiful pictures, and she made up a booklet for our consultation, which was helpful. However, her prices are pretty similar to some photography firms with multiple photographers (and a longer track record in the biz). We ended up going with another company because we liked their albums better, in terms of style and quality. read more

This is long overdue. Kali is an amazingly talented photographer. She has taken many beautiful photos of my child and my child's friends. She has also donated her time and considerable talent to the pre-school where our kids went. Her work is so professional and she has a great eye.
