The staff are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. I went in there to ask how painful it would be - a common question no doubt, and they gave me some great advice - go away, have a burger, don't think about it, then come and do it! They're very clean, very professional and as I said they do a good job of making you very at ease. Price wise they're very fairly priced in my opinion, having had other piercings before now. I've been back to this place regularly to buy new tongue balls and belly bars as I also have my belly button pierced. I think they have a good selection of body jewellery but not an overly excessive amount, however the prices in comparison to Punktured (in the North Laines) are a lot less. This is the only place I have had a piercing done in Brighton but I'd say the standard of the service is great. It's difficult to review a piercing place if you're getting something pierced that you haven't before as it's difficult to compare or know how it was supposed compare to other piercings... Saying that, my boyfriend has had his nipple pierced in this place after having it done previously at a different studio - the first time he had it pierced it never really heeled properly and he ended up taking it out, but since he recently had it repierced at Intro, he hasn't noticed any problems. All I can say that this is a decent piercing place and that the staff are very open and friendly with you and are always happy to give advice or answer your questions about anything so if you're trying to find a place to get something pierced I can safely say that you'll have nothing to worry about if you go to Intro. - Two years on and I've had no problems with my tongue piercing.. .

With a small, clean but not clinical upstairs tattooing and piercing room, a huge corner sofa dominating the waiting area and a horde of body art magazines and brochures, as well as a computer screen showing films and playing music, it's a friendly, unintimidating and comfortable place to get inked. The prices are reasonable, the quality is exceptional, and the staff are really chatty and friendly, easing the nerves of anxious customers. I was also disappointed by the customer service from Kai and generally he was not very friendly. Literally the type of artist I was trying to avoid. The tattoo was very important as it is in remembrance of my brother but Kai still refused to give me a partial refund to go towards having it fixed by someone else. I would not want it redone by Kai for free as he didnt do a good job on the lines and I would not trust him to do a good job second time around. He was also very unsympathetic and even patronising in his reply, bringing up one of my other tattoos by another artist having the audacity to say it did not heal well and that I am not happy with that one either. When in reality I am very happy with my other tattoo which is 10 years old, has never needed a touch up and looks far better than the one Kai gave me. Regardless it is Very inappropriate to bring up my tattoo by another artist. Really regret going to him. Massively disappointing experience, and now my memorial for my brother is ruined. From the moment I stepped inside I was treated like a second class citizen due to my assistance dog. I was bawled out by 3 members of staff for bringing the dog even though the receptionist told me it would be ok and she refused to watch the dog whilst I had the tattoo claiming to be 'too busy.' Not only did she provide me with the wrong information she then flat out denied doing so to my face. The business owner was extremely rude and unfriendly about my assistance dog even though he had his dog on the premises, saying 'dogs are dirty and unhygienic.' He dismissed my needs and the receptionist could not wait for me to leave so she could bitch about me. What an unpleasant bunch. Avoid.

Every tattoo I've seen from here looks professional and clean but never strikingly different. Unlike other places in town I've never seen a tattoo from here that's made me think "wow!" Both pieces were expertly done. Both the line work and the shading is really nice! As a side note, Trud is a super interesting guy to talk to when he's doing work on you. Keep it up guys!
