Delicious cafe offering up some "American brunch" options in Gracia neighborhood! While we have enjoyed every aspect of our trip there was no denying we just missed the ability to have good ol' fashioned eggs for breakfast instead of a pastry. We stumbled upon Kamelia and they offered just that for us! They have a bunch of great egg dishes and breakfast dishes to try up and lots of vegetarian options too. I got the Eggs V which was a type of Benedict with english muffin, eggs avocado, asparagus and chick peas. PS chickpeas on eggs is GENIUS. We got some fries and salad on the side. My husband ordered the mushroom omelette which was so delicious and full of mushrooms! This is a great option if you want something cheap, quiet and off the touristy areas but also appeals to a standard "american breakfast" if you need it! read more

This restaurant is beyond over priced. I ordered pancakes and scrambled eggs and asked for some avocado, mushroom and tomatoes in my eggs... When the bill came, I was charged: €3.50 for avocado €3.00 for mushrooms €2.00 for tomato For that €8.50 spent on additions to my eggs, I could have gone to the market and bought veggies that would last a whole week. Also, the syrup was some weird sugary substance from Holland, not real maple syrup. Our waiter was extremely kind and the service was good. But the prices are absolutely insane. read more

This place is amazing. It's a cute little shop that not many people seem to go to, but it's in a great location. The people are super nice and helpful to tourists (our waitress spoke to us in English and gave us recommendations for around the city). The coffee tastes great, and the sandwiches are super yummy. I usually never leave bad reviews, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I came in and there was no one else there which should have made me turn around but I saw the good reviews so i figured it must be good. I sit down and the waiter gives me the menu then stands close to me and stares at me until I order. He actually just stood there and stared at me, so uncomfortable. I asked for the chai tea latte and a omelette with jamon and manchego. He gave me a chai that was clearly just tiger spice mix, not at all worth 3.50 euros. He then gave me the omelette that came with tiny fries, 2 tint pieces of watermelon and a tiny bland salad. The omelette had zero jamon, I told him this and he was like oh sorry I didn't hear you ask for that, would you like some jamon? I said yes and he brought me a small bowl of serrono jamon that was ice cold and seemed like it had sat in the fridge precut for multiple days. When he gave me the cheque he charged me extra for the manchego and the jamon! Which were supposed to be included! 20 euros for a sub par breakfast, he seemed to mishear me on purpose to charge me extra because they were having no buisness. Don't come here. read more
