Two years ago when my Mom died I had a great experience calling a local florist in Spokane directly to order a funeral spray so I did the same for my mother-in-law's funeral service in Yakima. They were very kind and helpful on the phone and it sounded as though they would be a great choice for the flowers for my mother in laws service. I was a little surprised when they told me that funeral sprays START at $200 but agreed to the price because I wanted something really nice for sons' grandmother. I gave them my credit card over the phone and they agreed to send me pictures once the spray was done. Imagine my surprise when my son sent me pics of the flowers that he received at the service. First, I was surprised that the florist hadn't sent me the pictures they'd promised. But when I saw the pictures I realized why-- they had sent a BOUQUET of flowers and not a SPRAY of flowers to the service. When I called to complain they offered to make the spray and send it but this was after the service and too little too late. They asked me what they could do and I said refund me the difference as I paid way too much for a bouquet of flowers. They did refund me $50 so I essentially got a beautiful bouquet for $50 more than the nicest version I could have purchased online. I would not call this florist to order directly and instead use teleflora or 800 flowers where you see exactly what you get as you order it. read more

I could not have hoped for a better experience - everything, from start to finish was absolutely perfect. After my grandmother passed away, I wanted to organize flowers for the memorial service and then also for the reception - but trying to do this from out of town over the internet and phone, I was more than little nervous about the large order, getting the delivery done correctly etc. The Kameo Flower Shop staff were beyond helpful - they patiently took the time to discuss all sorts of options that met the color and flower types that I knew were my grandma's favorites, and made sure the pricing worked for our budget and all the desired vases were in stock - they even texted me pictures of vases so I could pick from different colors of blue. The delivery and placement of the arrangements - were on time and placed in the different rooms - they event sent me a picture of the flowers once delivered. When I arrived at the church, after the graveside service, everything was perfect. I had ordered two large alter arrangements and 6 table centerpieces - all of them were absolutely beautiful and designed to go together - their lovely flowers helped make my grandma's funeral a little more special for all the family and friends who attended. I ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday. I wanted an overall pastel look and didn't really see what I wanted on the website. I called and a very nice woman helped me determine something beautiful, based on flowers they had available. Was delivered the next day and it's lovely. Blue hydrangea, ivory and peachy roses, green carnations and chrysanthemums. I don't know how to add a picture or I would. They should offer this one as an option! I called a couple of other shops with good ratings, but one didn't call back and the other didn't have the right flowers, though they were very nice. read more

I ordered some flowers for a funeral recently in my experience with them was excellent.I spoke with the gentleman on the phone who explained different options, different price ranges and ultimately made a very nice recommendation for A bouquet that was appropriately classic for the occasion. They also did a really nice job of making phone calls and arrangements to ensure the flowers were where they needed to be on time. Best flower shop in town. I had seen Kameo Flowers around town and in other local businesses before, but had not needed their services until recently. In December I reached out to them in regards to creating storefront flower displays for a coffee shop I run. The staff was able to take our existing planters and make incredible holiday flower arrangements to grace the from of my store. These arrangements have been versatile and long lasting to say the least. After the holidays they removed the Christmas decorations and transitioned them into elegant Winter displays. While time, snow and weather have taken a toll on the arrangements they still continue to receive compliments after almost 3 months of use. We are already working with Kameo's staff to create spring arrangements for the storefront as soon as the weather improves. I ordered flowers from Kameo last night. I live out of state & wanted to send flowers to my mom to her grave sight. She's only been gone for 2 yrs. I was worrying will they really be delivered. Well today I got a call from Kameo flowers, the delivery guy Robby telling me they had been delivered & placed at her grave sight himself & asking if I would like a picture! Disappointed because I spent $45 on a bouquet called 'Be happy with roses' and then $13 for delivery. They were for a birthday for my MIL. There wasn't a single rose in the bouquet. A little upset I paid so much for a ceramic cup with what I believe are white/yellow daisys. read more

Very sad to say that I won't be a returning customer. I supported this shop when I lived in the valley and have used them to send flowers now that I live in Seattle. The last batch I sent we BROWN the next day and when I called to ask if maybe I got a bad batch, the clerk was very rude. Growing up in Yakima and always using Kameo Flower Shop there was no doubt when it unfortunately came time use them for a funeral. Living in Seattle now I knew who to call without any hesitation. Despite it being Mother's day weekend the staff was able to produce amazing pieces (casket spray and two large standing sprays) and accommodating to the early morning delivery for the next day. We came across this shop on the recommendation of some folks at another wine room, and we are so glad we did! The owner was pouring wine from several different wineries and she had her dog there!! We were able to peruse her cute shop while enjoying amazing wines from Naches Heights and Portteus Vineyards. I cannot rave enough about the combination of a flower shop with a wine/beer tasting section and a pup running around! She does wedding/event consultations - because who doesn't want a glass of bubbly while making fun plans?! The space is huge and has so far been used for classes such as sip and paint, center piece design, and plans for more to come. If you're visiting from out of town, Sydney can give you some great beer, wine, and food recommendations. If you're from the area, what a gem this is! We worked with Sandy, and she is so great! Very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. Kameo was so easy to work with, so flexible, and they went above and beyond with their customer service. Sandy even made last minute accommodations just weeks before the wedding when I realized I had neglected to order arrangements for the bridal table.
