I liked the well-kept green spaces, mature trees, and calm atmosphere throughout the area. It felt like a neighborhood gem where locals come to relax, walk their dogs, or spend time outdoors. The park is clean and inviting, making it a perfect stop during a longer walk through Oslo. I enjoyed sitting on a bench and simply taking in the surroundings. A lovely green space that adds charm to the area.

Though I was disappointed by the not as exciting as I thought it would be waterfall, I was really impressed with this extremely lengthy park. I guess there's probably a central area but it extends down and along the river. I was here on a nice summer day and it's certainly worth seeing a waterfall in the middle of the city. It definitely makes you forget that you're in the city and you start wondering if you've suddenly escaped into nature. I liked that a lot. Nice park and if you get bored of the park, it's right next to the main residential areas so you can just wander out and do something else.

We went through a small path that lead us to the entrance. There were picnic tables and lots of kids/families in the area. Once we went through the front, starts a small trail which is scenic. You might want to wear tennis shoes-you are entering a hiking trail that is not paved. There are small ponds you will pass. I believe at 1.5 miles you cross this bridge with a beautiful waterfall and an old abandoned building, which is worth the hike. These woods/hike is not strenuous, but I suggest you wear the proper footwear.
