If I could leave a ZERO star I would! Dr. Khoobehi performed a "Mommy Makeover" on me. At several pre-op consultations, I clearly expressed what I wanted for implant size. I wanted the smallest size possible which is 120cc. Dr. Khoobehi insisted 220cc are the smallest implant. Obviously my breast size results were beyond a desired size. One breast was significantly lower than the other one. Plus the right one was "deformed". I understand they won't be perfectly symmetrical. However this was extreme in my option. At, at least two post-op appointments I was so upset with the results, I was hysterically crying. Dr. Khoobehi's response was, "well what does your husband think?". Dr. Khoobehi was very insensitive and dismissive. I had to have corrective surgery preformed by a different cosmetic surgeon. Her skills are phenomenal! Failure to follow the agreed upon procedure and improper care has resulted in further surgeries and another issue that would have been caught earlier had he followed proper procedures. I'm a mom of 3 and have wanted a tummy tuck/lipo/breast reduction and lift for years. It's a very emotional thing for me and this surgery would literally be a life changer. It's taken a while for me to get the courage to write this review. I had a consultation with Dr. Khoobehi back in March and the longer time goes on, the worse I feel about my experience during my meeting with him. Being that we lived in San Diego at the time of my consultation, it was held via FaceTime. Their virtual consultation process requires that you take and send photos showing areas of where you want work done via email. The surgeon reviews the photos and then contacts you via video chat at your scheduled consultation time. Both Dr. Khoobehi and his assistant were present on their end, and my husband and I were present on my end. My experience was sour from the second Dr. Khoobehi got on the line. We picked up the call, and the first thing he said was, "Wow, your body doesn't match your face." I understand that the whole point of plastic surgery is to improve your appearance, but to blatantly make me feel like my body is so ugly was immediately a bit shocking. I was just caught so off guard... I didn't even really process how much it bothered me at the time. The consultation continued. We got to the part where he pulled up my photos on his computer and then held up the phone with FaceTime so he could pick apart and critique my flaws, and I could watch. He made the comment, "Your kids really tore you up, you have stretch marks EVERYWHERE"... he put emphasis on the everywhere. Yeah, thanks. As if I didn't know. Usually women don't go to a plastic surgeon because they feel amazingly confident about what they want to change, so this whole experience was so weird to me. You'd think a surgeon would want to come off as warm, understanding, and gentle. Dr. Khoobehi was just cold, aggressive, and really blunt. Trust me, I'm not one to want everything sugar coated... but to make such curt comments about my body when it's already something I'm so insecure about (hence wanting plastic surgery... *eye roll*)... I just don't understand it. Does he treat everyone this way? I received the quote the next day - $28,500. Because of how bad he made me feel about myself, no thanks. Not worth it. Don't get me wrong - he may be a great surgeon, but bedside manner is worth so much more to me. I need someone who will understand how important these procedures are to me. It's not just another nip and tuck... this is something that would, again, literally change my whole life. I haven't been confident in my body for 7 years. Ugh. I visited with this doctor a couple of month ago and I didn't have had a good experience. He was very rude, impatience and treated me in a denigrating way. He accused me of lying because he asked me if I had lip filler done before and I told him I hadn't. He looked at my body and just told me there is nothing he could do but suggested I should do work on my face for $28K. I am 56 years old female, I weigh 147 lbs and I am 5'11 tall. I think he could have treated me more with respect instead of making me uncomfortable including with all the staff in the room. I hear a lot of stories about him how he's treating women unpleasant. I'm sorry to put this review so late. I had a double mastectomy by Dr. Khoobehi 11 yrs ago, and he did such a great job by fat grafting. He attached my nipples back where they belonged, I also had a cycling accident more than five years ago, and I was at the hospital on northern shores. Right away, my husband called Dr. Khoobehi to see if he could see me without a doubt; he placed the stitches on my eyebrows and my chin, God knows how many stitches, but he did such a great job that no one could tell this day if I had a biking accident and my face was touched!!!! I've had just about a complete makeover with Dr. Khoobehi and he's the only my person I trust with my face. He and his staff are very friendly and professional. He's always pretty busy, I am taken in at my appointment time without much of a wait. I've been going to the Metairie location for several years now and I'm very happy with the services I've received. When I first went, I was very nervous but Dr. Khoobehi's friendly personality put me at ease. I like that he doesn't push services and is honest and conservative. My mom got her breast done by Dr. Khoobehi back in 2002. They still look great and real. For my 21st birthday my loving parents decided to pay for half. I had my consult with Dr. Khoobehi, he used a 3D machine and you get to see exactly what you'll look like. He is an honest man, people tend to get offended. He suggested fat transfer, it didn't make me feel fat, it's just a more natural look and is healthier than implants. But I wanted implants so that's what I got. He will NOT do what you say. He is the doctor, you are his walking billboard. If you want huge unnatural breast, he's not the surgeon for you. He refuses to let you walk around looking stupid. He went as big as he could for me. I've never had kids so I could only do 410 cc. & let me tell you, I understood why. His staff has always been super nice to me. His practice is very clean & beautiful. He also did my botox and lips. He asked if he could use the remaining amount of filler to correct my nose. My nose goes a little downward at the tip. I didn't get offended at all, I didn't even know that was possible. I let him, he's the Dr. he knows best and isn't gonna suggest or ask to do something that makes me look stupid. I went a few years ago for a breast augmentation consultation. I've been to a few and I can say hands down this was the least professional consultation I had. I went in for a breast augmentation due to have acute tubular breast and Dr.Khoobehi made sure I knew my breasts were messed up too. It's something I've always been insecure about and to have a doctor pull up photos of other women and point out all the things that were correct with their breast and wrong with mine was more than I could handle. I started to cry and I'm not the most sensitive person, I knew what I was coming in for. His assistants tried to console me by letting me know he's just direct. But he spent about 10 minutes lecturing me about how messed up my boobs were and how much work it would take. He also tried to sell me on fat grafting instead of implants which didn't even seem like he had good results with and is way more expensive. Then he proceeded to show me a photo of a women who he claimed to be his wife to prove that the fat grafting results can turn out well. Let's just say I ran and never looked back. Beyond him having terrible bedside manner he was questionable at best results with his work and he apparently exposed his wife to me. Honestly this man should have his license taken away. read more

I have seen Dr Khoobehi twice now for Botox. I was new to the area and needed to find somewhere to continue my Botox. I thought what I was getting before was good... I went to Dr. Khoobehi About 2 months ago for a consultation for fat grafting or a fat transfer from tummy to breasts. I was about a B cup and knew I didn't want anything unnatural or too big. I knew going in I wanted only a fat graft after a previous consultation with him years ago and doing other research. He was completely supportive with my decision. I completely lucked out and was able to schedule my surgery 2 weeks later which Apparently most people wait a month or 2. I couldn't be happier with my breasts 6 weeks out. I look and feel natural. He fixed the asymmetry in my breasts. I felt like he advised and gave me reasonable expectations of my results of my lipo'd areas and so far he has been right on the money. He gives you his cell phone number if you have concerns for after the surgery which put me and my mom at ease. I love that I don't look fake or top heavy. I love that they look and feel completely natural. If it wasn't for the tiny incisions for the cannula no one would ever know I had work done. The other thing I love is you don't ever have to get them "redone" like with implants. Dr. Khoobehi and his staff are the best and would do it all over again 100%. I went to this surgeon for a consult for breast augmentation and possible tummy tuck/ Lipo. The staff was perfect. The practice was clean and comfy. I slipped into this nice robe and waited for him to make a grand entrance. He seems to be a teaching surgeon... So of course fellow Drs. Aka newbies were in the room too. I told him what I want, which was large breasts. I am not small built. My chest eats ccs! He told me the largest HE was going was 400-500 ccs! I was like uhhhhhh I know that's small (to me). Then I saw material about cool sculpting. I asked about it and the person described rudely that I need a tummy tuck with Lipo. No amount of sculpting was going to help... She made me feel like fat bastard from Austin Powers! The surgery would total about 16-18 grand. I'm like yo I just brought a car... Like no note just paid off the lot... I have young money lol like infant... I don't like being told what to get, especially if it's an invasive surgery totaling into the thousands. I'm paying cash so I want what I want.
