After a quick Google search for boudoir photographers, came across Jrenee Boudoir's website. From the moment I read Jess's about us page, I knew she was the one. I could tell she would be able to capture the essence of what I was looking for, while making me feel comfortable, and I was absolutely right! The entire planning process was super easy, from booking the appointment to the initial phone call with Jess. She guided me through every step, ensuring I felt prepared and at ease. On the day of the shoot, it felt as though I was having a photoshoot with a long-time friend. I was so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire session. I have struggled with body image for most of my life. I was a bigger girl from a young age, and even after losing 140 pounds and going through surgery, I still carried an old image of myself in my mind. I kept putting off booking a session -- telling myself I would do it after I lost 30 more pounds, after I was more toned, after I felt "ready." Please hear me when I say: don't wait. From the moment I arrived, Petra and Diana made me feel completely at ease. The studio atmosphere was warm, fun, and uplifting. Diana made me feel absolutely beautiful -- even better than I imagined -- and Petra took the time to truly understand my style and personality. She guided every pose so naturally that what I feared would feel awkward actually felt empowering and authentic. When Petra showed me the first images on the back of her camera, I was in shock. The woman I saw was radiant. Strong. Beautiful. She didn't look like the version I carried in my head. For the first time, I started to see myself differently.
