At the grocery department you can find all kinds of goodies, pastry, fresh meat, fish, specialty products, and international foods. You also have several options to have something to eat either at the restaurant located upstairs, or at the many coffee/snack shops. This is like a huge fancy shopping opportunity for demanding shoppers. You can shop for beautiful handbags, high-end clothing and shoes, or if you favor a certain domestic or international cosmetic brand, they have it. Don't forget souvenirs, toys, home goods and Finnish design items. The customer service department will ship things for you to destinations all over the world and help you with duty free shopping. Among many other notable things is a big Alko store. This is the government monopolized liquor store. So, if you find great delicatessen for lunch or dinner, you will also have the opportunity to purchase alcoholic beverages to go along with your meals. Really, if you want to spend time and money here, it is truly worth the trip, and everlasting experience while in Helsinki. The best thing at Stockman building is electronics store called Power that I just discovered last Summer. They sell variety of appliances, phones and so on. Found a table phone for my mom who needed to replace her old one. She uses it for Skype calls from the USA. Customer service at this place is priceless. The young men helping me during my visits were so knowledgeable, patient and friendly. One nice traditional point about Stockman is, that they have a clock on the Alexanterinkatu side of their many entrances. That is famous among all people living in Helsinki. When meeting friends, we used to say: "Meet me under the Stockman's clock." Happy shopping and maybe I will see you there.

We were here to do a Geocache, and as I love gift shops, I popped in here too…read more It's perfectly fine, a normal museum gift shop, with an obvious slant towards Helsinki but actually nothing really very exciting or unique. This is almost definitely because I was there as an English-speaking tourist though, and I think this shop - and museum - are well suited to Finnish visitors. I'm glad we went and next time I'm in Helsinki, I may well pop in again - and perhaps be more inspired to shop!

Our tour driver was able to drop us off and let us shop a bit, and we were able to pick up a moomin card holder for the honey and quite a few wooden ornaments for my mother. It was honestly a bit hard to decide between them all because there were so many gorgeous pieces to choose from. All in all, the service was incredibly friendly and helpful and we would absolutely come back.

It's an overall mini market, located in the heart of Tikkurila. i love this store because prices are great, and the selection of goods is plentiful. As a purveyor of all things Bugaboo I can say with confidence that this is the place to go. Short order period, they keep some stock on hand. The web service is outstanding too. Prices are in line with MSRPs and they have full lines of all the major players in Babyland: Phil and Ted, Brio, Stokke... Need a Tripp Trapp? A Buffalo? A Bjorn, a Breast pump, toys, muffs, feeding supplies, bath supplies, baby baths, bottles, bags, ohmygodanythingbaby?!? They have it in the store or on their website. As a first time mom with a desire to give my special snowflake the whole world and as a lover of Bugaboo prams and products, this is my go-to. So nice to order online from bed and then pick up from store, too. I love instant gratification. This is the stuff that stay-at-home-momming is all about. PS- their sales associates are outstanding. I would say that Bebes in Kamppi and Peikku Punavuoren are pretty close competitors style-wise but they completely lack the warmth, congeniality, and helpful staffing that Fiilinki and Zicco posses. Unfortunately the time I was in Finland was over the Easter holiday, and most places were closed on Friday, Sunday and Monday. Luckily, Della Marga was open on Easter Monday, even though online it stated it was closed. I was able to come here just before they closed and get myself a couple of purses. For International Travel, they are a Global Blue Store, which means you get a percentage or amount off on the items you purchase if they qualify. At the time I went it was 15% off any purchase between $1000-$5000. Over $5000 you get 17% off, the price, since tax is already calculated into the ticket price. You will get your savings from the Airport when you leave. I had Milla? as my sales associate, and she was extremely helpful and friendly when I walked into the store. She explained all the savings that I would get and provided my boyfriend with some of the reading material regarding that. She brought out all the bags for me to see and select from. She showed me EVERYTHING Chanel that they had so that I could make a good selection and find the right fit. She wasn't pushy or rushing me even though it was getting close to closing time for them. She was extremely attentive and was listening to what I was looking for. The store has free wifi, so that you can take pictures and send to those people that you may need to that aren't there with you. I had cell service in Finland, so I didn't need it, but I definitely took time to show pictures to my mom and see if she wanted anything and her suggestions for my purchases. I've been to some Chanel Boutiques who won't even allow you to take photos, which I find extremely frustrating, and plenty of others like this one where they encourage and allow it. I really enjoyed the hassle free shopping. If I ever find myself in Finland again, this is definitely one of my first stops off the plane. Beware, they try to convince you their prices are the same as in elsewhere, for example France, but really they put about 25% extra to prices -quite much when buying for example bags worth thousands. Also don't trust them when it comes to availability of the same products in other stores around Europe. Also the owner is a bit, hmm, "personality". On good mood lovely, on bad mood she can be seen yelling at customers. Just skip this and go to Vuitton in Helsinki or visit Chanel or YSL own stores in other countries.
