We had the anchovies, octopus, oysters and stuffed crab. I was not a typical anchovies fan before this trip, but this spot quickly changed my mind. They were salty, briny and tender. Not "fishy" as I had anticipated. The oysters were cold and super fresh. The octopus was tender and flavorful. Not chewy in the slightest. The crab was also excellent. Like a "twice baked" style with crab and other delicious fillings. We had a great sampler of the place with all in play. The Keler (a local creation since 1872!) was outstanding. We loved it.

They have excellent fish here in San Sebastian but to see you prepared so lovingly and so professionally was fantastic. Be warned on Friday or Saturday night will need reservations. It is kind of a hip place. Not what I would call family-friendly. They also have very little other than sushi which however is excellent. It is one block from the beach which is nice and they also have some outside seating if the weather is good. They close for siesta and don't reopen until 8 PM.
