There's some seating available. It's conveniently located near the bars in Plainpalais, so it makes the perfect spot to stop on your way home for a midnight bite.

Third, it's one of the biggest kebab joints I've seen in the area. I ordered the box kebab, which gives you a selection of lamb or chicken over either mixed salad or frites. I opted for the mixed salad. As I was waiting, someone in line ahead of me ordered what I believe was a lamb soujouk sandwich, and I found myself thinking "wow, that looks amazing." Two thin sheets of pita were piled to the brim with the salad ingredients and a generous portion of lamb, expertly swaddled in a small plastic bag, wrapped in a napkin, wrapped in aluminum foil, placed in plastic bag. Then, I realized, "wait--that's exactly the same stuff he's putting in my box, except she gets the pita AND she's only paying CHF8 when I had paid CHF10 for my box!" Lesson learned--get the sandwich. I passed over the yogurt sauce as it looked excessively watery, and opted instead for what I thought was tahini sauce. Imagine my dismay when, as he is slathering my box with the stuff, the guy behind the counter notes "ah, oui, mayonaisse." The lettuce was fresh. The hot sauce wasn't the best I had tasted. I couldn't really tell how good or bad the lamb was, because it had already been tainted with the mayo/hot sauce concoction by the time I opened the box. Presentation was above average, substance was probably just about average. But what keeps this place at three stars, or rather, a 3.5 rounded down to a 3, is the sweet couple that run the place. They were super friendly, you can tell they keep the place really clean, and the owner comped me a falafel ball as I was waiting. It was huge, well spiced, and I was almost full by the time I was done with the falafel ball. Considering that I have yet to find an amazing kebab place, this place does just as well as the others plus a little bit of extra. Unless I find somewhere that's significantly tastier, I'd be happy making Le Liban my local kebab joint.
