Re-discovered for myself this amazing barbers shop run by the current owner's father before him…read moresince the 30s I think. Maybe 10 years we visited St Ives and I had my hair cut, and we talked about Bernard Leach. Cheap haircut, great conversation and it was patronised by Bernard Leach, and probably many other of the artists who lived in St Ives, you can't match that. All this and there is a shop where you can get beach toys. This is how small businesses should be, long lasting, individual, fun and useful.
