While it's not a restaurant, it's as closely connected to food as is ever possible. This is a local delicacy store that focus on local produce from northern Sweden/Lapland (as well as traditional craftsmanship and Sami culture). And for anyone even remotely interested in quality ingredients with knowledge about its origin, respect for the produce and nature in general, this is a must-go-to-place. The owners are friendly, service-minded and with just the right touch of personal to make you feel well taken care of whenever you drop in for a visit. Meats such as reindeer, deer, moose, and grouse line the shelves together with fresh-frozen berries, jams, marmalades, dried and powdered berries, line caught river trout and it just goes on and on... Pick something up for yourself, or something to give away as presents to friends or family. I love these kind of stores and while the prices are a cut above what you find in your average grocery store, this is without a doubt what people should eat more of to really learn and experience what quality food is all about.
