The place is very neat and clean (and they clean up and sweep the hair all throughout your appointment) The atmosphere is great. Upbeat music, friendly hair dressers, cute decor. I always go in here with multiple ideas and my hairdresser always takes the time to walk through all the options and ideas with me until I find something I love. I've done multiple styles (short, long, bangs, straight, curly, etc.) and many colors! I went here for my prom hair and makeup and everything has always exceeded my expectations. Hair stylists (more like destroyers) are rude. Mine didn't bother to listen to what I wanted. One commented about needing alcohol during my cut. I was given options of things I didn't have the length to do. I sent pictures of myself well in advance, and said I was open to see what they would come up with. Haylee gave me a haircut that looks like it has chunks missing from one side, and a bowl cut on the other. I specifically said I do not want to look like a "Karen," at least I got that. Instead, I look like my mom decided she was too cheap to pay for a haircut and just went willy-nilly on it. Aparrently I should continue to "brush my hair to the side" to train it. I'm lucky the only people who will see me are my fiancee and my co-workers, who I'm sure are going to rib the hell out of me about this. You've heard of a bad haircut on tv. I came here one week before Christmas 2018, it was my 4-5th time coming here (only for cuts) but…read morewas also my last because of experienced un-professionalism. I started doing my hair color (balayage) myself after having previous bad experience in Birmingham and Jules helped me remind myself again why I should stick with doing my own hair. I went to see the owner Jule that day I arrived right on time for my appointment 1:45pm but she didn't start on me until 2:15 pm. I bleached my hair prior but was out of toner at home, so I asked her if she could apply a glaze to get rid of the brassiness around the mid section where I applied the bleach (the ends of my Hair didn't really need the toner since they were already a 10/11 from previous balayage). In the mean time her next client arrived at 2:20pm. So she applied the violet toner to my whole hair and left me sitting at the bowl while attending to the next client.. 30 min. The thing that bothered me was; She didn't even come check on me. After about 15 min I noticed (thank god i had my phone on me) that some parts of my hair turned purple -especially those end parts that were already at its lightest from previous bleaches. So I'm trying to get her attention, but I didn't work. So when she finally saw me at the bowl she was a little shocked too but tried to play it off. She kept telling me it will come out in a few days after a few washes. I told her I don't want to go home like this, and asked her if she can put on a second toner (a natural/ with a little gold in it) to counteract the violet which she then did. She only charged me for one toner which was nice I guess. She has a lot of older, white and local clientele and really doesnt seems interested in new clientele. AGAIN this experience was a good reason why I started coloring and toning my own hair.
