We've tried different varieties at this point and everything has always been top notch. If you decide to eat-in, they also have really good coffee. One star was deducted from my perspective for the interior. I find it bland and boring. Further, due to their success, there is usually a ton of people in here waiting to order stuff for take-out. We actually have started doing this as well. We come and pick our stuff up and eat it at home. Like I said, it really is that good and we live nearby so we have home court benefit. At the same time, I really wouldn't recommend the cafe as comfortable and inviting unless very little is going on and this is rare. They are successful, popular and well known. People trudge over here just for their cakes. I highly recommend trying it out as the baked goods truly are 5-stars.

Cake it's not exactly fashionable these days is it??…read more I remember the days when eating cake as a child use to be just as much as a treat as ice-cream. most cakes between the days of my mom baking them for me and the present I've tried have ended up being boring, heavy and just not all that special... it's as if good cake making has become a lost art form. Nowadays when cake is served at an event usually it's for a wedding or there for photo opportunity purposes...usually left hacked up but not really eaten by guest. After crashing and falling off my bike near this cake shop I decided that what I needed was a nice sweet treat to accompany my coffee at Zoe 2 bar....which i was en route to, to meet fellow qyper Sooffietje. Everything in this shop look absolutely amazing... I don't know what to choose!!! I finally settled on a glazed kind of lemon and almond jam roll that melted in my mouth and was so perfectly light and fluffy and not at all too sweet but definitely sweet enough to satisfy a sugar craving... you can tell a lot of love, care and decades of experience has gone into creating these airy scrumptious treats. I'm going back for the Blueberry cheesecake next time and will definitely be ordering my 23rd birthday cake from this shop!!
