BEWARE!!!!!! I would never recommend the Law Offices of Kareem J. Crawford based on my family's…read moreexperience. We hired Mr. Crawford to represent my son in what we believed was a relatively straightforward case. He assured us he had worked as a prosecutor beforehand and told us he expected to have the matter reduced to a noise complaint. Unfortunately, that is not how things unfolded. From the beginning, communication was extremely poor. We repeatedly had to chase him down for updates, and it was difficult to get him to return calls or provide information. We were never given clear instructions about meeting before court, and on the day of the hearing, my son and I arrived on time while Mr. Crawford showed up over an hour and a half late. When he finally arrived, his appearance and demeanor were concerning. He was dressed professionally but appeared disheveled with dirt on his suit and tie massively crooked, which did not inspire confidence. He also came across as dismissive when we tried to ask questions or get clarity about what was happening. He began asking questions about the case that I believed should have already been addressed, especially since he had told us he would be speaking with the prosecutor in advance. He then told us the options were to plead guilty to the original charge or accept an alternative that he described as being considered "rioting," which he said was worse. He also specifically told us that if my son pleaded guilty to the original charge, there would be a fine but no community service. However, when we appeared before the judge, my son pleaded guilty as discussed, received the expected fine, and was also ordered to complete community service. Mr. Crawford did not object, seek clarification, or advocate on my son's behalf. Afterward, when I asked why the outcome was different from what he had promised us, he simply said it was "out of his hands." As a parent, I hired an attorney because I expected my son to have someone advocating for him and protecting his interests. Instead, I left feeling like we received very little representation for the money we paid. I honestly believe my son could have represented himself and had the same outcome. To make matters worse, there was no apology or acknowledgment of how the situation was handled, and his dismissive attitude continued even after the case concluded. Based on my experience, I felt dismissed rather than supported. This was an expensive lesson, and I hope others carefully research their attorney before hiring one.

This guy may not even be a lawyer. We spoke on the phone and he sounded educated. unfortunately he…read moreis probably the laziest attorney around. I paid him $1700 and nothing was done with my case. it has now been a year and am still fighting to get my money back. Hopefully his license will get suspended and this will not happen to anyone else. God speed Mr. Crawford. Nothing good ever comes of men like you
