I mean, what's there to say about Walgreens? Most are exactly as the next one…read more Do I ever check in to Walgreens? Literally never. This day tho..that all changed. This can definitely be a shorter review for me. Ok. So I rarely ever write bad reviews. I ONLY write bad reviews when it's warranted. I never want to abuse the review game like SO MANY do! Like too many do! People write bad reviews out of spite, bc they couldn't get this or that...so they'll make sh_t up. I know people don't know me from the next person, but I've always taken this review writing seriously. Just need to get that out of the way. Geneva Walgreens...again, it's like any other Walgreens. However, they have an employee there by the name of...Jessica. I KNOWWW I am NOT the only person who has left there after dealing with her feeling like..."wtaf just happened?" Jessica is RUDE!! Ruuuuude! Like RUDE! She legit never smiles! I've been in a few times while here and NEVER smiles, never greets you, nothing. When I checked in here, that day I was there looking for Halloween stuff. And you know at all Walgreens, by the register, they'll have like a shelf of candy and above that is like a rack of magazines, chapstick, etc? Jessica legit saw me walking towards her lol. I put that "lol" bc this is as funny as it is...just annoying and unnecessary. Well, Jessica sees me approaching and knew I was gonna ask her a question. She dips behind that rack of magazines and candy...acting like I didn't see her. I thought... is this b for real right now? She even lowered herself down. Like she legit had NO desire to help any customers. I stood on my tippy toes to look over and was like..uhh, yeaahhh...can I ask you something? She stood straight up and let out this "sigggggh...ugh sure" I was like OMGGG! I described what I was looking for. She POINTS! "Any Halloween stuff....yeah, in the Halloween aisle" I was totally floored. There was another employee in the Halloween aisle. He saw this. I didn't realize he was like an employee employee. I thought he was one of the reps from one of the companies that set up displays, or one of those guys that bring Coke products and whatever. I knew he wasn't delivering Coke lol, but you know what I mean? He sees my interaction with her. Gives a quick glance over to her and then says..."yeah, what are you looking for?" I told him and like so many retail employees do...or are told to do by employers (I worked retail for years) he took me right to the item. Apparently Jessica has been there for a long time. I've mentioned her to several people and EVERY. SINGLE. ONE! said the exact same thing about her and how miserable, mean she is and has NO desire to help customers there. I honestly don't know how or why any place would ever keep an employee like her...one who clearly hates her job and even more so..:hates the thought of helping anyone who comes in....to....a RETAIL store! For the record too, I was not mean, I didn't come across as mean, I just simply asked a question. If I was in the wrong, I ALWAYS own up to that, but I definitely was not even close to being in the wrong here. I always love going into Walgreens. There is a homey factor to it for some reason lol. If I see Jessica at this store tho, I legit hope someone else comes up to ring me up bc she's just gives that...uneasy feeling. If y'all know... y'all m'fn know! Hahaha! Jessica, cheer up, mate! Life isn't as bad as you make it out to be. You may hate to smile, I get that. I hate my smile, but I still do it lol. Does it mean you have to? Nah of course not, but damn! Try not to be so obvious in hating customers...like..trying to hide from them so you don't have to help lol. Thanks for reading, YelperGreeners! Cheers!

All I wanted to do was return 2 items that were purchased at their nearby Walgreens store for…read moredelivery to my home. But for some reason, the customer service representative at the register decided it was necessary to see my original order on my phone. Which I questioned since I had a receipt with me showing I had purchased those items. She then proceeded to ask me why I didn't return them to the other store to which I replied "because I'm shopping in Geneva today". As far as I know, Walgreens does not have a policy of having to return things to the store they were bought at, and if it was policy, she should've explained it to me. it was if she thought I was trying to cheat her somehow, I've never been questioned about returning something when I have both the product and the receipt showing that exact product was purchased. It didn't help that she had an attitude as if she was doing me a favor by considering accepting the return. I do have to wonder if she had a problem that I was still masking since I've noticed a lot of customer service employees give us weird looks because of it. since I'm trying to protect immuno compromised family members I really don't give a shit what she thinks or anyone else thinks. Needless to say, I asked for my receipt back and left the store with my product. I will update after I return the items to the other store. I am curious what kind of questions I'll be asked there.

Of course, the Finger Lakes are KNOWN for wine so we're just thinking we're making reservations for a wine bar (with "speakeasy" vibes). Which that would've been totally cool with us. After continuous back and forth, changing our reservations 50 million times, adding and taking people out, we finally made it to Vinifera on a Friday night and were super apologetic since we had to make yet another change. The staff was absolutely incredible and accommodating, they made sure our party of 10 would be in the same room/table. The only "downfall" was that we'd have to share the room with another small party. Which was absolutely not a problem and we ended up being BFF'S with them by the end of the night. We met the owner Jim - the most incredible human - and he took us down to the speakeasy (which passes right through a super secretive door in the back of the main room upstairs). Side note - the main room upstairs is a vibe on it's own btw and we would've been absolutely fine and happy there. It's an actual wine store and you can purchase all kind of local wines. Be sure to ask and get all the recommendations you want. Not only did we get to enjoy an incredible time but we got a super cool VIP experience and learned the story and so much history about this place, the concept, the origin and what sparked the idea of creating it. That itself, was a treat. On to the actual speakeasy experience. When you go downstairs (through that fun super cool super secretive door) - you're instantly transported to another era, another time. It's dark, it's velvety, chandeliers, spiderwebs (the aesthetic kind, idk if there were actually any but it fit the vibe in my head), Leonardo Da Vinci, Mona Lisa, candles, curtains. There are two super cool rooms, one to the right (which is where our large party sat at) and one to the left - totally recommended for smaller groups, it's cozy, it's chill, you can interact and share with other guests too. Just by this, I'm wowed. As if this wasn't enough, the drinks were absolutely incredible. I ended up ordering some kind of a smoked drink and they happily substituted the regular old fashioned for mezcal. What a dream. Everyone was happy with their drink orders, some ordered some off the menu things and they happily made them - even though they technically only serve what's on the menu. Wine flights are also available if you're in the wine vibe. Bottom line: we loved this place SO much, we came back 2 night's later for our last night. We sat in the other room and absolutely loved and enjoyed it. I had a lavender drink and it was delish. This place is a GEM and you should absolutely check it out and support it if you're in the area. If you're not, well now you have a place I know you'll love to go to!
