Won't be using again.
I have been a long time client of Kassie and never had any issues until today. We went away and left our animals expecting her to care for them, we made the booking and at no point mentioned she had sent the email and expected payment before she confirmed the job.
On the day she was meant to take care of our pets, I was sick and slept in, then when I woke up I had multiple messages from Kassie asking for payment, another saying that since I hadn't replied she thought I needed to cancel my booking and then the last message that said that I needed to find another pet sitter because she needs to have a work life balance on Sunday and can't be chasing clients for $50.
Indeed. I told her she was being unprofessional with her messages, calling me "babe" and being condescending, and instead she told me I was being disrespectful, when I actually wasn't.
I have my own business and I know what professionalism and customer service actually looks like. If I treated my clients like this and asked my clients to pay before we even serviced them, they would go elsewhere.
Kassie was extremely rude and disappointing today, almost egotistical, like she doesn't care about her clients and we are just here to pay and fall in line with her plans without proper communication from her. She has put us in an inconvenient position having to find someone else to care for our animals at the last minute.
Thankfully we have sorted that now. If you need a professional trainer and dog sitter, I would recommend Down Under Dog Trainer who is also reliable, experienced and knowledgeable.
*UPDATE: After posting my honest review of my experience with Kassie, she replied to my review with a comment and then found my business page and left a negative review from a fake account within minutes of her reply.... Even though she's never stepped foot in my business. Absolutely vindictive, immature and pathetic. Awful human being. read more
